  @BeddieKU23 Apparently Philly has been holding him out some games as a way of easing him back into things. He’s had 3 or 4 DNP’s already. Makes me nervous every time I see his name not being in the box score. @jayballer54 Marcus 13 and 4 Markieff 15 and 7 Unfortunately I think it drops down to BMac averaging about 8, and it drops off from there. It does show what amazing talent we had on our team with Joel and Wiggs.

  @bskeet It has been known to happen from time to time although it is becoming rarer. It appears the refs have decided they want to be the stars instead of the player…I guess the bought into the old Hollywood adage that there is no such thing as bad publicity.

  @RockChalkRedlock The next five KU games over the next two weeks are Siena, UAB, Georgia or George Washington, UNC Asheville and Long Beach State. This is a perfect time to pull Lucas from the lineup and let him rest/ heal up before the Stanford game on December 3. By trying to do a minutes restriction, you ultimately end up with him just taking longer to get fully healthy (or not getting healthy at all). Lucas is not moving well right now, and for a guy that has limited agility and explosiveness to start with, that’s not a good thing. Let him heal up so he can really contribute. Give minutes to Udoka, Bragg and Lightfoot (who needs some minutes to gain experience). Might as well do that against Siena and others than have Lucas re-injure himself and have Lightfoot needing to play big minutes for the first time against UNLV or Texas Tech a month from now.

  @BShark Miami has been decent here lately, made the sweet 16 LY and has beaten Duke and UNC in the past few years. Its a little surprising but some kids want to be apart of the building process and not just another high expectation team.

  I was once guilty myself of saying Self was too rigid. Ha. That said I do think this is out of necessity. Given the choice and the roster, Self still would prefer his way.

  LL will be better tonight just needs to settle in and do what he is capable of rebound and defense, LL is a Jayhawk although disappointed at times with him I still love him, as I do most hawks.

  @BShark Definitely, seems like until they actually sign its hard to take what any of these kids/recruiting experts say for granted. Grimes sounds promising, some 2019 kids seem promising as well. Hopefully promising turns into results

  @Barney I think Frank does what coach wants him to do. Frank has muscled up more, he doesn’t seem to have a problem w/adjustment. I don’t buy the Bragg hasn’t adjusted to his stronger body yet.
