  @dylans We can use all available tools to create a chip for this team. It is so hard to come back from a Nattie and perform well. We definitely have the talent and coaching to go far this year but it is going to take being a very hungry team to maximize potential.

  @wissox I wonder if some of it has to do with how much bigger Jalen is this year. He always is aggressive and he’s able to take contact a lot easier this season where in the past he might have sold the contract easier for a foul. It’s been a developing issue I’ve been seeing. Jalen has been on the refs a lot this season and imo rightfully so

  This team has a tremendous amount of momentum going into conference. Since that loss, we have won every game by an average margin of 24.4 ppg. I think we’re built to win. The floor in conference is 14-4.

Having said that, without going back and comparing games from the past few years, my sense is that the B12 hasn’t been quite as strong this year as in past years, but that is at the margins. And, the B10 and SEC arguably have a better collection of really top tier wins, although the B12 does have a few. All B12 teams have at least one quality win, with the exceptions of TTU and OSU. And, 15 of the 19 losses would all qualify as “good” losses. KU Quad 1 wins are Duke, Wisconsin, Mizzou and NC State. Best wins for others: KSU - LSU TCU - Iowa, Providence, Utah UT - Gonzaga, Creighton (?) WVU - FLA Baylor - Gonzaga, UCLA ISU - UNC, Villanova, St. John’s OU - FLA, Ole Miss The question is whether the B12 is as strong at the top this year? Is the SEC the strongest at the top - Alabama, Arkansas (at least without the injuries), Tennessee, Auburn, and Kentucky? Right now, Sam Houston is ranked 20th in NET rankings so based on quadrants, they’re considered a quality loss right now. Also, you missed Indiana as a quad 1 win for KU.

  Not at all what I expected. Listless, and can’t hit a three to save their souls. Was thinking about last night when Eastern Illinois was a 31-point dog and still managed to beat Iowa on the road. Harvard’s “only” +21 and playing us even so far.

Thats one of the reasons I said ya look at who they have plays. -Those stats can be skewed from the people they have played , plus the one thing also is we are grabbing like 5 more rebounds per then they are. The biggest concern I have is the enviroment and how the players will handle it. NONE of these guys have played in the Missouri /Antler enviroment. - it’s gonna be loud - -it’s gonna be nasty. - -STRAP EM UP BOYS
