I figured we'd probably know about DP eventually. Just didn't think it would be this soon. And now we know. An 18-year-old with an NBA future experiences FULL BODY CRAMPS during bball preseason and is taken to the hospital. Imagine how painful that would be. Imagine how frightening that would be. To me, it explains it all. It made it almost impossible for Bill to develop DP and for DP to develop as a teammate. What I can't figure out is why his agent and his family thought it would be best to try to hide it. Had we known, every KU fan would have been sympathetic and understanding and supportive. That's the part I don't understand. (Because you know the NBA would have found out before the draft) Above board would have been much better.

Now that spring training is underway, let's start discussing upcoming season. Big question for me. Can any team dethrone mighty Dodgers?

@kjayhawks2.0 said in Chiefs offseason thread: The Chiefs are signing former Dolphins CB Kader Kohou. Kohou missed all of last season with a knee injury, but has 38 career starts, 190 tackles, and 3 INTs. I’ve read some mixed things about him. Sounds like he’s purely a slot guy? Regardless, we need some bodies!

Wisconsin beat Texas to go to the final 4. Kind of an upset. Texas swept them earlier this year.

I think the article/interview mentioned that the benign tumor was removed from an area adjacent to the region that regulates anxiety, so I took that to mean that there was collateral damage from the surgery. At least some self-repair/healing should occur with time. But, he'll likely need to manage the symptoms the rest of his life. At least they know what they are dealing with. 50 years ago, this would have been a mystery and there would have been few if any resources for comfort or care. Modern medicine is pretty miraculous.
