Game ball should go to vital

RE: Bears v. Dogs
Signing off. Just Really can’t root for either team. Hope it’s an interesting finish.

RE: Bears v. Dogs
@jayballer67 that’s a given but officiating has actually been pretty good so far
-
RE: Bears v. Dogs
Good adjustment on D by Few. If Baylor cools off from three they should be able to chip away enough for the bears to implode
-
RE: Bears v. Dogs
Vital is probably the best passer on the bears team. Best flopper too
-
RE: Bears v. Dogs
Guess Gonzaga hasn’t played two hard games in a row all year
-
RE: Bears v. Dogs
@jayballer67 I’m rooting for the bears, but I’ve seen their coach
-
RE: Bears v. Dogs
Expect Baylor will get too cocky with the guards dribbling around and they’ll start chucking stupid shots
-
RE: Bill Self Emperor of Kansas
Had a funny discussion with my 76 year old mother about Bill’s lifetime contract.
She asked, “Why in the world would he commit to a job for the rest of his life?”

RE: KU 2010-2020 Decade Team
I wouldn’t have any one and done guys on my list…
3 bigs: Withey, TRob, Doke
3 guards: Frank, Devonte, (Senior)Tyshawn
3 other guys: Ellis, Svi and Garrett
3 other other guys: BMac, Traylor and Teahan (either one)

RE: Today's Games Thread
Zags getting the duke treatment. Turned it off after that BS flagrant and 1.
Never thought I’d root for Baylor, but I will.
-
RE: Vaccine
I sometimes carry a bag of dog poop around in my sweatshirt pocket for a couple miles on a morning walk with my dog, so I’m not sure if I will be the right person to report side effects from anything
-
RE: Vaccine
Is spelling a side effect? I need to know before I go out in pubic.

RE: Today's Games Thread
Passing and passing by USC didn’t cut it. I thought Baylor looked like “bad ball Bill Self” on steroids last night in the second half. Guards never passed the ball to a big, ever, just drove to the basket for the last 15 minutes for layups or fouls. That might actually be the ticket to beating Gonzaga, plus playing tight perimeter D with Thamba in the middle to mess stuff up and Vital to hack at random. Hate to put any hope on a Scott Drew coached team though, so we’ll see.

RE: Vaccine
@wissox Well, vaccinations do take the “cin” out of vacations! If that’s a good thing.
@Crimsonorblue22 One of several new places we’re going to try! Didn’t want my first impression of the new restaurants to be from take-out. (We’ve done quite a bit of takeout) I’m just so tired of my own food… and dishes.

RE: Goodbye Enaruna
Hate to see guys leave, but I’m not sure if I remember a player leaving and think KU or the player would have been better off with him still here. AWIII and Grimes… are those the two most successful? Frankamp? Milton Doyle? Find the right fit. Bitter guys poison the entire locker room.
Tristan just seemed to be putting in the time to ultimately play back in Europe, which is fine, but I never saw any passion for the US college game.

RE: Vaccine
Patiently (sort of) waited for my turn. Kansas opened up for anyone over 16 (woo-hoo, that’s me), and I got online early in the morning and nabbed a spot for my first jab of the vaccine I can’t spell that starts with some combination of PFHZR on April 1 at a CVS four blocks from my house, no joke.
All I’m saying is, there are a couple brew pubs and one particular Mexican restaurant in Lawrence that are going to get their sugar daddy back pretty soon.

RE: Today's Games Thread
As much as the Laetner shot gotten hyped and replayed, I guess I’ve actually started to think it was the championship game.
Then there’s the best Duke miss in tournament history:
Anyway, nothing will ever beat NCState’s win over Phi Slamma Jamma

RE: Coach Hot Seat and Players to Poach
Wouldn’t Shaka get a buy out if he got fired? Man, he must have really wanted to get out of Texas.
-
RE: What happened? (comedy appreciated)
I woke up this morning thinking, “what if we had made 6 of our first 11 shots instead of one?”
Then I went back to sleep knowing we would have only lost by 20-ish.

RE: KU vs USC game thread
@Crimsonorblue22 I get tired of the chip on the shoulder mentality
-
RE: KU vs USC game thread
@Texas-Hawk-10 that @ me? No, based on what I saw this year, I doubt Bryce will start next year unless he bulks up a bit.
-
RE: KU vs USC game thread
@BeddieKU23 said in KU vs USC game thread:
3rd worst loss by a top 3 seed since seeding began. Awesome stat to be in now
I can’t name the first two 3rd seed worst losses off the top of my head, so that’s good.

RE: KU vs USC game thread
Is bill out of here? Doesn’t seem to have watched the same game we did.
-
RE: KU vs USC game thread
Also, it’s time for the NCAA to put up or shut up. Might as well as been penalized for the past three years.
-
RE: KU vs USC game thread
Next year… Sophomore Wilson, Senior Big Dave… that’s one dog and one anchor for next year. A rim protector would be great, but Dave will do. I’m fine with an amped up Harris at point… more of an attack guy would be better of course. If Och, Braun and Bryce can’t find a beast mode, then find better players
-
RE: KU vs USC game thread
@Crimsonorblue22 Must have been some reason he barely played.
-
RE: KU vs USC game thread
Ha, there will be one less Pac team in the next round
-
RE: KU vs USC game thread
Happy we got to play a mostly full season, all things considered. Reload and regroup.
-
RE: KU vs USC game thread
25 point loss against texas this year was Self’s worst.
-
RE: KU vs USC game thread
This game was the absolute worst case scenario. We have a bad shooting game. That’s it. We knew this all season. I don’t think Self put them in a position to fight in the second half.
Guys coming back need to find their cajones.
-
RE: KU vs USC game thread
just let Garrett drive the rest of the game on O. He deserves it.
-
RE: KU vs USC game thread
I’m not mad at the players. I just think coach gave up and tried his little stupid fantasy five guard option
-
RE: KU vs USC game thread
Didn’t even put guys in there to play for pride. NCAA putting the hammer down next year or something?
