…and loss of 3 scholarships for next three years? Ouch.

So, if they got that, what are we going to get from the independent committee? Remember, we’re not directly connected, and there is everything that is happening with Zion, Duke and Nike and what not. I want to know everyone’s opinion.

the only thing is Okie State is not even close to what the seriousness of the allegations are that we face. This was brought up on the local sports talk show here. - -Ours will be deterimined by this independent group hopefully fare better with them.

I’m not too optimistic. As the co-hosts pointed out on ESPN’s Pardon The Interruption today, OSU got a heavy penalty for only one Level 1 violation, while KU has to answer to five of them.
The interesting thing is that the hosts sharply disagreed on how bad the NCAA comes down on us. Kornheiser thought they’ll throw the book at KU, while Wilbon thinks we’ll get away with a relative slap on the wrist. After seeing what OSU got, I’m afraid it’s going to be more like the former.

I’m scared

I hope coach K is thinking back surgery! Lol

The NCAA isn’t deciding KU’s fate like they did with OSU. OSU’s case was also much more cut and dry than KU’s case is. The severity of KU’s penalties are going to completely hinge on how the IARP views TJ Gassnola and the interpretation and application of NCAA bylaw 13.02.15

toss in lack of institutional control on top of those 5 level 1’s
The hosts of our local sports said if KU had decided to fight and go through with the NCAA - -they would of for sure destroyed us compared to Okla St.
Another thing is and there are some - -even here that seem to think that since we went this alternative route that we gonna get off better - -thing is there is NO APPEAL. With then ALL BETS are off whatever they hand down - - -END OF STORY there is no appeal, so we bettern make sire were dam well ready with our defense.
