TORE into Cartier Diarra last night.
“This young man has outstanding talent; he’s been coming off the bench as of late,” Fraschilla said. “Listen, I like this kid. He’s a great story. But the body language — I talked to him before when I came to practice — I don’t think his mind is with Kansas State. I really don’t. I think his mind is on playing professional basketball. This is a mistake for him. This is a mistake. He’s blowing a very good opportunity to be a very good college player.”
I wonder if Bruce wanted him to work this in because in the post game presser Bruce basically agreed with him.

I’m not typically a “Fran fan” but I agree with him on this one. Diarra is blowing it, big time.

@BShark fran said this on tv?
-
Yes
-
Fran has been good this season, especially that he has stayed away from our games a lot.
-
Fran has no business calling a player out on national tv! It’s not his business!
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Disagree. Fran isn’t afraid to be honest and say what many are thinking. It separates him from other announcers and adds value imo.
-
I like Fraschilla too. Take him over Dukey V any day of the week.

Fran is an analyst, that is his job. He analyses situations and if Diarra’s body language looks off, he has a right to call that out as part of being an analyst.
