KU is very interested and in fairly good. The staff would also love to get Mac Etienne but that is not happening. Once he announces (Ill or Miami?) then I think Aidoo is the top target at the 5.

Well he looks like he has some upside, from what I heard he is getting looked at more and more, would be dissapointed IF we did happen to get him. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@jayballer67 We’ll be okay, fellow Bucketeer. All things considered, we have a good class this year and the start of a damn good next year. Bill will sign a couple more players. And the damn NCAA crap should be over soon. Thoughts anyone on when the crap might finally end? I mean, for real, will it ever end?

Not expecting any issues here. The only big miss was not getting a PG. Aside from that, recruiting went about as well as we could hope for.

Hopefully there will be some options in the spring when he knows what he really needs to get going into 21. Right now the cupboard looks bare for options

How about this Jonas Aidoo ? - -Any thoughts on him ? - -you think there is any possible chance we could land him ? - -looks solid only really true blue blood like the article says that on his final 10… Might be one of those cases where we get in on the non rated 3 star that could go to 4 star and in top 100 that would be a real jewel in the rough.

That would really make for a solid front court going forward. 3 modern bigs in Aidoo, Clemence and Muscadin.

Ya I have heard we in the mix anyways. I don’t know but for some reason I think if we were or could get him to commit i think he could be a pretty good player in time pretty solid on the inside defensively from what I heard rim protector and has some game to him seen some highlights- - but as we know they are hughlights - I just get this feel he would be a nice pick uyp

Fully agree on him being a good pickup. Self would have a lot of post options next season and to develop for the future.

Adams signed last night! Yay. Listed at 6’7, his hair tops him out at 6’10
Hunter Salis won’t sign early. Glimmer of hope there, albeit a spec.

You know keep seeing more & more about Jonas Aidoo and the mentioning of KU on other sites. - - 247 was evaluating the Big 12 Early Signing and they were talking about KU and Aidoo possibly signing with KU possibly - -him or saying that if KU could get either him or Mac Etienne , I think our chances are a lot better with Aidoo though - -again if that should happen I think would be solid.
then they were talking about Back Court help and talking about Hunter Sallis - -which I know guys we all agree don’t think there is a snowballs chance in hell of that happening , - -But here is a Name I guess we have been recruiting hadn’t heard - -talking about the possibility of Brandin Podziemski - KU currently -Ranked # 34 in the Nation in recruiting and saying if KU could land either Sallis or Podziemski that could put KU in the top 10 for recruiting - -maybe some hope - -if we could get Aidoo AND Podziemski - -would be a really solid class. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Sounds like the NCAA thing screwed KU a bit there, according to Bossi.

that makes two of us. Actually I’m really surprised that he hasn’t come out and siad he was going to Kentucky by now. It was my understanding from everything i had been hearing that he was pretty much gift wrapped to go to Kentucky - -if not there then North Carolina

I think that’s right. Also expect them to be active in the transfer market given likely immediate eligibility for everyone and the lack of evals for HS kids.

After landing two forwards in the class during the early signing period, the Jayhawks moved their focus to landing a more traditional big man who could help to bang and compete on the low block, and they did that in the junior college ranks with Curry.
Since getting to John A. Logan Community College, Curry has transformed his body, gotten more mobile and more athletic which has helped him to compete at a higher level and also produce very well.

Just worried Recruiting juco’s points to an overall talent decline coming through the program. There’s no way around the downturn we’ve seen

@BeddieKU23 I actually like this class a lot. Last year was concerning but might work out. Overall I think we will see college hoops with less talent going forward.

Agree. Love the class. Just pointing out there’s been a clear change in how they can recruit
