Curious . - -Am I the only one with the way things re , is there anyone else that is feeling un-comfortable/queasy - -even with reading and seeing al the so call experts picks and articles about how they feel about Bryce committing to KU - -we lead huge with the CB , so why don’t I feel that confident about Bryce? - feel about as nervous as I ever have.
Is there anyone else that kinda feels the same ?Not very confident - -even though -the so called experts off Rivals and 247 show us solid for him? - -Cunningham committing to OSU the night before Bryce visits just is not a good read for me - - - -Bryce tweeting out - -this changes things - & them being buds - - now that Cunningham has committed to OSU - -Bryce coming in tonight, I could see OSU & Cunningham trying to just hit it out of the pak tonight - - Cunningham really working him and getting him to come play with him - - stay in his home state - -not sure about you -but I’m not THAT CONFIDENT - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

The Cunningham committed to osu has no Effect on Bryce his is his own man

there shouldn’t be much confidence until he announces and signs. However I do think he’s made his choice already and this is him enjoying the process for one more week. If he picks KU its great. If he doesn’t, well we won’t be surprised given the mud we are in. I know I’m numb to losing recruits like this at this point.

only ONE teeny weeny little itsy bitsy problem with that logic - -him and Cunningham are really good friends - -has a huge effect - - -or very easily can have. - -He goes to Okie State tonight Cunninham and him hanging out during his visit - -he be ALL up in his ear talking all smack talking about how and what they could do as a pair there - -if he would go there Okie State have an awesome recruiting class – they got commit for another top 30 player I believe read it today just can’t remember his name- -

that makes two of us. - - All I can think about is a previous recruitment and we looked rock solid. - - Announcement day rolls around announcing on the TV. - - that day Ayton announces ARIZONA for craps sake. - -they wasn’t even considered a contender – we were a 100 % CB - -now we all know what and how that came about - - BUT still makes me leary and uneasy when it’s like this anymore. - -just can’t put a lot of faith in any CB or even experts a lot of times. - -like you say come next Tuesday and he announces with us - - -GREAT until then - - very un-easy

We’ve seen a lot of recruitments we thought we were in the drivers seat or had the momentum turn on us. This one doesn’t seem to be any different although I’m hoping my confidence in a few people in this board and the other have the right information. I think Bryce knew Cade was going to Ok Lite before it went down. I also think UNC moved to get Johnson knowing they weren’t his choice either. I think KU has always led despite all that has happened. Hope I’m right come next week.

Going to be interesting to see if we see any kind of movement - -changing of predictions from the so called experts after Bryce’s visit last night to Okie State. - -Guess they had the students all chanting his name last night at the game - - - So far haven’t seen any change yet - -see how it goes tomorrow and over the weekend

@jayballer73 I’m sure it wasn’t that impressive for him to watch a 5 point win over Oral Roberts with a crowd of 7,319 (about half of full capacity). Relax buddy

I’m leaning OU and it’s not a “homer” pick. Long ways to go until Tuesday and lots can happen between now and then. I have spoken to several people that feel strongly about OU. Another that said he would pick OU and gave reasons why, but prefaced it by saying it’s close and could change a lot

I just feel we getting that last visit in, the fieldhouse live action - -the connection with family his dad has with Coach Self - -the atmosphere - -I feel better

Eh, KU was the last in home for Dotson when he gave his commitment to the staff. I’m not reading a ton into it either way.

Yes, I have Thompson CB’d to OU, but it’s not a homer pick. There are several, that I have spoken with, that tell me the Sooners move to go visit Bryce on Tuesday, instead of him taking an unofficial, was the best move the Lon Kruger and the OU staff could have done. I am told the two sides met for over an hour and actually was closer to two hours. One source told me that both of Thompson’s parents are very vocal about where they want Bryce to go and that is to OU. Thing is, they are also allowing him to be the one to make the decision and aren’t pushing him one way or the other, according to various sources.
As far as the Kansas deal goes? Well, OU is in a dog fight and OSU also has made a run since they landed five-star combo guard Cade Cunningham in the last few days. Obviously, everyone saw where Thompson tweeted out that Cunningham’s commitment changes things, but the question remains of how much? I ask that because everyone knew Cunningham was going to Oklahoma State for the last several months. The Cowboys hired his older brother, Keith, this off-season and from that point on it seemed like Ostate was almost a given for Cunningham.
So, why am I picking the Sooners? Well, OU has had more than Bryce’s parents in his ear. The Sooners have had Trae Young, Blake Griffin and Buddy Hield all talk with him on numerous occasions. All have explained why Lon Kruger’s system is the best for him and his skill-set. The Sooners also have had the father of Tray Young, Rayford Young, speaking to Bryce and his father, Rod, about how much he liked their time at OU and how well Kruger used Trae.
Lastly, coaches and players that have no connection to Oklahoma have been pushing the Sooners and Lon Kruger as well. I am not naming names, but several NBA players and college basketball coaches have let him know that they think playing under Lon is the best spot.
All in all, I think it’s a coin-flip. I spoke to a source very close to Thompson this morning and was told, “I honestly have an idea, but would be lying if I said I knew for sure. I can tell you OU is close and in the top two, but it’s not a for sure thing with any school cause I don’t think he really knows.”
