This game will be played in Sacramento at the New King’s Arena. King’s fans have taken to Frank like the Bull’s did with Captain Kirk. They love him. ESPN had an article about who the new unheralded Point Guards are in the NBA. It said that he would be responsible for a 41% increase in wins. Take into account that that they were horrible last year. He will be in town for two days while the Jayhawks are there and you will see many camera shots of Frank cheering them on. I know the team will be glad to see him.

The Kings are playing Wednesday at Brooklyn and their next games is Saturday home against San Antonio; I imagine they fly out late Wednesday or early Thursday. Hopefully Mason will be able to attend the game.

I am pretty sure you could cut off one of Frank’s arms and he would still make an NBA roster.

The tree has to be one of the more absurd official or non-official mascot in college sports; right up there with the Fighting Okra and Artie the Fighting Artichoke.

Stanford isn’t a good team, 198th in RPI and 106 in kenpom. They are pretty much a one man band with Travis who did hurt us a year ago. Seems like we play like crap in these games before Christmas. Lets just play hard and get a win.

Frank had 16 pts. and TWO blocked shots playing 22 minutes. He and Buddy beat JoJo and the Sixers in Philly last night.

Embiid did not play otherwise the Sixer would have likely won.

A big reason they are 6-6 is they are without two perimeter starters who have injuries. Playing two freshman in their place and going only 7 deep because of it. They lack depth just like KU does.

@JayHawkFanToo tell me about it. I put Embiid in one of my DK lineups, and learned the hard way he wasn’t playing. Ouch.

Drove through the Stanford campus last summer. Pretty place. Was amazed how their football stadium blended in to the point where if you weren’t looking for it you wouldn’t have noticed it.
