I like the trend here. More league games. Of course if they’d remained at 10 teams they could do just like the Big12 and do a true round robin.

I have always maintained that 10 is the ideal number for a conference. Play all conference team in football (9 games) alternating home and away and play all conference teams in basketball home and away (18 games).

@JayHawkFanToo I wouldn’t mind if the Big10 set the pace for these large conferences and went to a true round robin. That’d be 24 games. Nothing wrong with that in my view. It wouldn’t work for football of course, but they could play more than the current 9 that they’re playing this season.
