I figured it was because so many players got injured last year there were multiple “starters” at each position. Since they had the offseason to heal up they’re back. Returning 19 of 22 legit starters should give everyone a real good idea what Beaty’s coaching is actually doing.
As a fan, the Sprint Center experience with great seats along with the Power and Light District is really nice. As a player, an arena that looks so different that AFH can be a negative and I read the players do not like playing there. The advantage of playing at AFH becomes a disadvantage when playing in the newer, larger arenas.
@JayHawkFanToo I wouldn’t mind if the Big10 set the pace for these large conferences and went to a true round robin. That’d be 24 games. Nothing wrong with that in my view. It wouldn’t work for football of course, but they could play more than the current 9 that they’re playing this season.
