Don’t put your hands on the offensive player. Defense has just gotten worse. And with an emphasis on 3pt shooting, teams are closing out harder and fouling more outside the paint.
It isn’t an issue of players just keep their hands up like they are supposed to. It is a problem caused by lazy defense.
