@Crimsonorblue22 Yes. They make barely any TV money. So Memphis, Houston, Tulane, UCF and UConn would like to leave if at all possible. The others are kind of stuck where they are.

Do they make more than Mvc?

@Crimsonorblue22 Yea, about $2m per school until 2020. They also make more money because they have more tourney success and that pays pretty well. MVC would be lucky to get $500k for each school.

The American is a pretty good basketball league that already has more national titles in its short existence than the Big 12 does (Louisville and UConn). This could also put WSU at a level where restarting the series with them is no longer a lose-lose situation for KU. Not saying it does happen, but being in the AAC does open the door to making it more feasible.

The Big East members are all Catholic schools which is the reason they separated in the first place; also, they do not compete in football. UConn is not a Catholic School and does have a football program so the chances are slim to none, Dayton, a Catholic basketball school that has been very successful lately is probably a more likely candidate.
