They definitely can, but I chickened out. Florida basically had one really good stretch this year and it’s been over for a bit now.

They lost a lot of their identity without Egbunu in the post. KU couldn’t replace Landen Lucas if it had too, hard to expect the Gators to replace similar important talent

I bet MU is wishing it had waited one more day so it could have taken a stab at Crean. On the other hand, how bad is the MU program that they had to so grossly overpay and give a long term contract to an average (at best) coach?

Going to end up with a better recruiting class with Martin than Crean would have done imo. I mean, we will never know. Neither is a great coach really.

yes Bryce finally came alive. in that 1st half I don’t think either of their leading scorers scored and they were up 15 at one point.

Not sure they can turn the corner, but at least the Donkey is sweating.

His first 3 seasons at Indiana lowered his percentage quite a bit from what he had at Marquette and where he built his reputation. I would take him any time over Martin.

At the end of the day, neither has done much of anything. Crean had a fortunate run with DWade. Give Cuonzo a DWade and he probably makes a run.

Crean’s non-DWade ceiling appears to be the S16.

Martin has had plenty of talent and has not much to show for it. Even with lottery pick Rabb and good support players they just got booted out of the NIT in the first game.

We will see what Rabb really ends up being. DWade is a hofer.

I don’t think even Self has had a hofer. Maybe Embiid has the potential if he stays healthy.

Having nightmares of when we ran 2 bigs and had opposing teams pack the paint in the tourney. Essentially what SDSU is doing.

the best player in the game plays for SDSU. Not surprised they are playing well but winning this late in the 1st half. oh boy
