Could this be seriously happening? Supposedly Soren Petro just came out and said the Chiefs are having a meeting in Topeka Monday but the Royals aren't and after the meeting unless some big screw up they will announce they will be building a new domed stadium by legends and a practice facility by K-10,- -Is this for real, almost sounds like it.

Yeah the rumor is LCC is going to approve a STAR bond package for the Chiefs. The state is getting totally scammed here (STAR bonds have gone through two audits, failed them both miserably, plus the absolute dearth of evidence that stadiums provide much economic impact) but Masterson really wants this “accomplishment” since he’s running for governor.

So isn't the Legends by I-70 and so why would the practice facility be off k-10. I heard the royals are coming to KS too. Rumor? Can't stand masterson and the businesses around legends don't want the Chiefs up there. Traffic and drinking and driving.
