@Bwag I go to a place in hutch that shows a lil older movies in a historic theatre, for 5 bucks. 33 is coming up. I want to see that though. My boys both had concussions.

@Crimsonorblue22 Too bad about your boys. Hopefully, not multiple or severe. Just wondered what the sporting public would think about the movie. I’m thinking it comes in low.

@Bwag kid from Sharon springs ks died from a head injury from fb last week. He was an all around good athlete, from what I heard he reminded me of Ron baker. Small town too.

@Crimsonorblue22 Incredibly sad. Agree it’s an NFL and Football in particular exposure film. I, personally, don’t typically go to social movement movies, but I don’t go see many movies a year. Maybe 2-4 on avg.

I don’t go to movie theaters in general any more due to my headaches. I can’t control the volume, and who wants to get up and leave after paying that much to get in.
In the long run I want to see this movie. I have seen a documentary on it and this Dr and how the NFL tried to get his medical lic. revoked.
It will put them in a bad light, the NFL that is, for awhile, then they will hype Super Bowl 50 and unfortunately people will forget that this is a true story.

How many kids die each year playing sports? Used to be more people died playing baseball than any other sport. Seems like there are around 20+ people who die each year from football, but it’s really getting press right now. Concussions are a bigger problem in soccer, but that bucks the stigma and nobody cares about soccer.
I hope a better concussion protocal and treatment options can be come up with soon. It’d be great if a guy could take a pill after a violent collision and no brain swelling would occurr. Medicine may hold a solution in the future, but for now if you want your kids to be 100% safe let them develop diabetes playing on the iPad.
