ROYALS vs Mets Game 5 for the CROWN

In about 7 1/2 hours Edison Volquez will have an opportunity few in life can live. A World Series Championship & a father/son relationship can validate & integrate on the biggest stage in the world. He says he’s ready. He says he’s focused. And I believe his heart of a champion is unconditionally able. After scoring 44 runs from the 7th inning on this 2015 post season, he may need only pitch 4-5 innings to secure their fate in this Fall Classic. By far, the most critical & toughest at bat in the ROYALS game 4 World Series comeback win over the desperate NY Mets, was Lo Cain vs Clippard when he fought & hammered foul after foul for a 17 pitch walk. That was like the proverbial Mickey Finn right before the knockout… And for all the smack the Mets have talked & tossed (at Eskys head) about conjuring memories of the 86’ comeback, the only 86’ memory comparable is the Buckner Boot & the Murphy’s Law Miscue of the Sat night contest that has KC on the threshold of their 2nd World Championship in franchise history. Which brings me to leave this topic open all afternoon so our board rat baseball junkies can get a dang good fix before the spotlight shines, maybe for the final game of the 2015 season. At first I wanted them to do it iat Kauffman Stadium, but hey, the final nail is held & ready for the Mets coffin at KANSAS Citi Field tonight in Queens. And I believe Volquez will bring his best stuff ever to the mound tonight. I wouldn’t even be surprised to see a Buster Douglas type performance of the grandest proportion to culminate The ROYALS 2nd World Championship. After all, the odds of the Mets now winning 3 straight are astronomically against them & these ROYALS will simply not be denied.

I’m getting a little nervous because my DirectTV is still out in my area, Fox and NBC only are affected. But they’ve been out all day. Probably a lot of irked Saints fans around here missing their game too.
