Toronto has the best odds...acording to Vegas
-
Vegas has Toronto as the favorite to win it all and KC is second. In the AL Toronto is favorite over the Royals and the Cubs seem to the big favorite in the NL.
-
Cubs are a better bet right now because they are in the NLCS. Dodgers or Mets will be done after today, at which point the NL odds will shift. If the Dodgers win tonight, I expect they will be slight favorites over the Cubs.
-
Cubs still the favorite. I am surprised the Royals are not getting much love…bulletin board material?
-
I was assuming (silly, I know ) that the Dodgers would win. I think most people believe the Dodgers have the most talent in the NL. Now that they are out, I think everyone believes the Jays and Cubs are better than KC and NY. This is especially odd because KC and NY have home field advantage. If I were a gambling man, I’d put 50 bucks each on the Royals and Mets to win it all

Here is an interesting stat:
Largest cities in the US and the last 8 teams in the playoffs; Teams in Bold are the finalists::
-
- Toronto, Canada- Blue Jays (#1 Canada Metro Area)
-
- New York - Mets, (#1 Metro Area)
-
- Los Angeles - Dodgers (#2 Metro Area)
-
- Chicago - Cubs (#3 Metro Area)
-
- Houston - Astros (#10 Metro Arera)
-
- Dallas - Rangers (#8 Metro Area)
-
- Kansas City - Royals (#26 Metro Area)
-
- St,. Louis - Cardinals (#21 Metro Area)
It sure look looks like KC and St. Louis overachieved. I am sure the Networks hate the small TV market in KC and would have preferred one of the big markets.

@JayHawkFanToo saw a chart on the big money for the teams. Interesting, no time to find it
-
@JayHawkFanToo how 'bout those stats?
-
I am not sure what stats you are referring to, the ones I posted came form looking at the teams in the finals and not a publication. If you give me more details, I am pretty sure I can find them for you
-
@JayHawkFanToo no, was kidding cause we beat them and wondered if the stats were changing.
-
I will see if I can post the latest line/odds after the game…
-
@JayHawkFanToo I not a stat fan.
