Wife and I took the kids last year to a game. I really enjoy the K. Decent prices for seats, unlike that crap team on the other side of Missouri… If you go stay away from day games during the summer months unless you like roasting your butt off!!! We like to get up to KC when both the Royals and Sporting KC are in town so we (actually this is more I than we since I’m the one that loves futbol) can watch both. Just eat before you go to the Royals game because they have/had a big problem involving the venders lack of cleanliness.

@Kip_McSmithers my boys and I had a rare time together last summer for a game. Somebody sold us their tickets in the parking lot for 15 bucks a piece, we sat about 6 rows behind royals dugout. Awesome. One of the boys and i went to get food and when we got back the one that stayed had caught a ball. He said he basically bent over and picked it up. Pretty cool! I’m hoping we can work a game out this summer too.

MLB is one of the few sports left that are still somewhat affordable for families…not counting concession food. Last time I had family in town I looked at soccer tickets for the Sporting KC and the average ticket was around $100; thanks but no thanks.
