@crimsonblu22 yep. I went for a bit, it was pretty low key.

But is low key what KU's program needs to improve fan support and our image to future players. I can't imagine a great athlete seeking out a low key program. I'm afraid KU is satisfied with a mediocre, low key football program. I don't see any excitement about KU football.

@stoptheflop Sad, but I have to agree. In the midst of a stadium rebuild, I don't recall ever being as complacent about the football program as I am these days. Little to get excited about.
As I have said many times through the years, fans will support a great team in a shi**y facility when they will not support a poor team playing in a great facility.

I think they’re doing fine. Focus is on the field not the other stuff.

Stadium renovation is going to bring plenty of excitement. A win in London to start the season will get the people going.

I'd love to be excited but with no changes in the defensive coaching or conditioning it is hard to see us having a good enough defense to win more than 4 or 5 games

I’m excited. There’s more talent (by a good amount) on defense and Andy being back is awesome. Going to be a very interesting fall camp.

Can KU beat Mizzou in Lawrence on Sept 12? Is anyone going to London for the ASU Sept 19 game that's being called the Union Jack Classic? It seems we are back to the days when David Beaty was so uncertain at the QB position that he refused to announce the starting QB until game time. I remember watching the scoreboard in Memorial Stadium before the first game to see who was starting.

@stoptheflop I would guess that KU will be a 7+ point underdog at home. Can't see any reason to go all the way to London for a game. England is not what it used to be. Overwhelmed (as we are) with immigrants. And, it could be a LONG ride home.

England is great but only if you don't base your trip around London. Hastings, Bath, Stratford Upon Avon, Durham(NOT Durham NC), Exeter, and Rye are all wonderful.

I may be in minority here, but I love London, great city with incredible vibe.

Could depend on your attitude toward minorities. Lol. Can be scary for some who are generally afraid of brown people.

@crimsonblu22 Londoners are in the minority, thanks to their open immigration policy. (Sound familiar?)

59% of London residents were born in UK. 77% are British citizens.

The number we seem to be talking about is White British (37%) — which excludes White Irish, White Other (Polish, Italian, etc.), and mixed-heritage Brits born and raised in London. All white residents (~54%) — still a plurality.

Pretty sure London is inhabited entirely by Londoners.

In other news , the percentage of Brits with no natural teeth has steadily declined from 37% in 1968 to 4% in 2023. Truth!
