Wouldn’t surprise me. The winds of change seem to be blowing. The state of Texas is becoming a hot recruiting bed for basketball. The days of we just care about football maybe coming to end, as well as Barnes tenure as HC of the Texas Basketball team.

UT went on a run to end the half only down 2. Down by as many as 11. I picked Butler to win.

I wish the Big XII wasn’t falling apart. Nationally, everyone thinks it’s KU and a bunch of stiffs. This isn’t helping.

The conference ranking is largely based on the non-con schedule and the Big 12 had by far the toughest non-con schedule and best non-con record.
I have numerously posted here that the NCAA is a crap shoot with the match-ups offsetting the records. As Valvano said,survive and advance…and hope you don’t get a bad match-up.

Kansas and Oklahoma scored more in a half in 1988 than Texas and Butler are going to score in the entire game.
