Duke vs KU
-
I am probably not the one to Emcee this occasion as I’m not even remotely ramped up on this year’s team. But, I’ll start the thread.
Do we have a chance here?
-
Of course we do based on our comeback which stalled but it was a part of the game when we fit together for a while and it worked.
-
Reeves is motivated against his former team. 5 boards and 2 blocks in the first 4.5 minutes, plus a couple of bad misses at the rim.
-
A lot of Melvin so far.
-
Defense is much better than against Louisville, but offense is terrible. Apparently they don't have any plays to get guys clean looks...
-
Can’t hit anything inside point blank. Good grief.
-
We're stuck. Kinney is lost.
-
I might have to retract the better defense comment. Duke is penetrating and kicking out for wide open 3s or getting mismatches down low. Much better spacing. We keep running the iron age weave at the top that gets exactly no one a clean look or downhill lanes...
-
4-9 from the FT line...
-
24-6 Duke run. Not very good
-
It's what they did against Tennessee
-
Kinney looks good. Active hands, hit a 3.
-
Kinney has good size.
-
Great response. Seeing flashes of the team we could be.
-
Stokes is a nightmare if you go small ball guys.
-
Forgot about this one in the business of a Sunday morning. I turned it on 5 minutes ago and surmised we made a nice comeback.
-
Kinney may become a favorite Jayhawk.
-
Stokes just does not give damn in the lane.
-
I am pleased to report the old barn still has it
-
We won’t be playing Mbiya or Reeves much this season. Just a much much better team when we play small.
