KU Baylor

Ya the refs have to give us time to sub because they subbed. I’m telling god hates KU football
-
That’s probably game right there
-
We just don’t do the little things right. That’s it. We have competed in every game.
BUT We don’t finish plays. We have dumb penalties. We drop passes.
It’s so incredibly frustrating.
-
I can't waste another beautiful fall saturday watching this team. Adios keep the chat going if you wish!

Right I’m sorry but I’ll take a top 5 basketball program and getting spanked in football. Over being competitive and shitting pants every week in football and having a middle of the pack basketball team. Everyone in the athletics department should be absolutely embarrassed and their job should be in question.
People will point out players play and coaches coach but it’s the same coaching staff and different players making the same exact mistakes as last week or last year or the year before. It’s an endless nightmare on repeat.
-
They actually did it. Special teams has been so insane for this team this year (both good and bad)
-
They held onto the lead at the end for once.
-
Good win today and hopefully the spark they needed to finish the season strong.
-
-
Well how about that
-
Crazy that it is 5 straight homecoming wins. Impressive

I quit watching but put my headphones on and listened while out disc golfing and well, I was pleased. I really don't like playing with points after TD's too early. Going for 2 after the TD to pull within 3 meant we kind of had to when we got the winning TD. Kick and EP both times and the best Baylor does is tie at the end. Worked out of course.
-
Well, both teams played pretty poorly, so it was a fitting end to the game. Rock Chalk!

KU made the smart decision going for two. In that situation, a conversion means you only need a FG to tie the game up and as bad as the offenses were, not a bad option, and if you get another TD to take the lead, a PAT makes it a 4 point lead and Baylor would need a TD to win. It was a good risk to take in that situation.

Not sure if I'd describe our play as poor. We gained a lot of yards against a stout defense and for a change our defense came up with a lot of key stops throughout the game. We performed during crunch time which I don't have to document our numerous failures at the end of games in recent years do I?
We made our typical mistakes but committed only 3 penalties and one was totally on the refs for not letting our defensive guy get off the field.
-
What a shocking upset. Not only did we beat Baylor, but we won a close game. Rock Chalk!

lol. After reading the comments earlier, I told my wife we lost. Thanks guys!
-
wow. not sure i understand what winning feels like so this is a bit confusing!
I was just about to shed another tear for a late game loss, but something positive happened! remarkable.

In looking ahead at the schedule I was thinking UCF might be an easier game in the quest to become bowl eligible. They have a chance here to knock off BYU.
@texas-hawk-10 I stand by my position. Don't give up points.
-
WOW, UCF just got screwed out of a chance to kick a game winning FG.
