@approxinfinity - “potential” is the operative term.

This issue late was not having a go to scorer, Mason, Graham, Ochai, Wilson one of those guys takes control in years past and wins us the game. Everyone shot shitty in the second half and was scared to make a play.

Hopefully Darryn can finally play soon. Sucks that hamstring injuries are so sensitive because we're giving him millions of dollars to go out and close games like this

              Looks like another long year.

Nah we’re the Justice League without Superman right now. Get him back and we roll.

@rcjhdraft if we cut down the nets i am going to point at this DP-less stretch as the catalyst. Its all good. This is just one marquee game and the big prizes are ahead of us.

Any of the stat folks remember the last time we let up less than 65 at home and lost? Thats prob the biggest disappointment to me is 2019 will remain the last undefeated season in Allen. Feeling like the building has lost it identity here the last few seasons. Seems like we lose 2 or 3 games just like most other power 4 decent teams 😭

Now that we are DP-less, this is about what we should expect for the rest of the season. This is a good team, but not quite talented enough to be a great team.

Yeah I've been pleasantly surprised by elmarko and Jamari but they are still being stretched far beyond what should be expected

I would wager a significant amount he’s back soon, barring a setback.

@rcjhdraft Yeah, my head exploded on that last play, but Jamari has given us pretty good minutes this year. I would still assume that Jamari has the most minutes to lose of the rotation guys with DP's return, given what we've seen from Elmarko.

Need to lock the guards in the gym over Christmas break and do nothing but layups and 3s.

My 14 year old had a minor hamstring tear and is an elite soccer player for his age, and it took about 6-8 weeks to fully heal.

You just can't explode with a hamstring injury.

I would encourage every to temper their expectations of what DP can bring not only in terms of a minute restriction but his explosivity when he returns.

Jamari is playing such good defense. He has been a very pleasant surprise.

I’m just tired of hearing he’s the best player in the Self era, he has a lot to prove to get into that category. Numerous B12 players of the year, lottery picks and championships. He has looked good but I’m could name prob 15 players in a drunken stupor I’d rather have on this team from the Self era right now. In terms of his explosiveness I’m hoping that’s why they are waiting for him to be a 100% but he will likely need to get back into game shape and that could take a good few weeks.

@approxinfinity Yeah I'd imagine most of us doubted Jamari would actually get serious time and he's drilled threes and not been egregiously bad. Just shouldn't have had the ball at the end it is what it is

@Jayhawk_69 defense was good tonight just let up
too many offensive rebounds think they had 12 second chance points in the second half.

Ultimately if DNP comes back soon and plays well I won't look back at this stretch and think "Damn! If only Peterson had played more in November." But each game he misses makes it seem more and more likely that he is shutting it down for the season.
