Today's photo is of a patch of my garden that is dedicated to all the pollinators in my life! It's cover for the ground and provides lots of nooks and crannies for bees, butterflies, lizards, hummingbirds, and lady bugs! Waiting for a couple loaves of banana bread to finish baking. Smells so good.

The wonder of nature comes alive in these "cottonball" clouds! I am one of those that can look at a cloudscape and see images.

TGIF Here's the little bit of Kansas that I still have left in me from my garden here in Texas. For the birds 🐦 and the bees 🐝

How 'bout them #Jayhawks taking the Big 12. Happy for them and the ladies. Go Spurs Go! Will have to beat OKC. Tough out.

Today's photo is of a what I believe is a Gloxinia. They are hybrids that can breed quickly and produce many blooms. The display last about two months and rarely return after fading. But mine came back after covering it this winter and it does have a lot of blooms. I got it for $0.98 couple of years ago. Not bad.

This is a little blurry because I was shocked to see Hattie tip the bird bath so she could get a drink. Ever resourceful. She's around more during the day than we ever have noticed. She comes around the deer and they don't bother each other. She must feel safe!

Today's photo is of a bloom we got off an ivy vine that Mike had gotten a clipping from a house he was remodeling and transplanted to our back flower bed, amongst the nandina (heavenly bamboo) and corn plants. It bloomed up untill 2019 and then we never saw another one. It was lost in the 2021 freeze.

The girls like to do puzzles. They are currently working on a 3,000 piece one of a Swiss village amongst the Alps. This one showcases the wonders of our world. Anybody else do puzzles?

@RockChalkinTexas-0 My wife does puzzles with the kids and i hover for a bit. Theyre currently doing the 1000 piece pokemon puzzle again. Its slightly sadistic. Deceptively hard because the pokemon art has large single color areas. I think most of our puzzles are 1000 pieces. We have a few “magic puzzles” we still have to open.
