The girls like to do puzzles. They are currently working on a 3,000 piece one of a Swiss village amongst the Alps. This one showcases the wonders of our world. Anybody else do puzzles?

@RockChalkinTexas-0 My wife does puzzles with the kids and i hover for a bit. Theyre currently doing the 1000 piece pokemon puzzle again. Its slightly sadistic. Deceptively hard because the pokemon art has large single color areas. I think most of our puzzles are 1000 pieces. We have a few β€œmagic puzzles” we still have to open.

I usually spend the last hour of the day working a puzzle. This is one of the more challenging ones I've done lately.

@nuleafjhawk A group of frogs are called an "army" or "colony". Bet that was hard.

                  Today is WORLD BEE DAY. I looked in my photos and did not find one. 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝
Today's photo shows the destructive nature of 21 inches of rain we had last July 4th. This is the bridge I go over to get out of my area and was the only one that withstood the wall of water that came down Cow Creek. Mike helped build this bridge back in 1987 and 1988 when our community had rallied our county commissioner to fix our low water crossing. The low water crossing was all the way at the bottom of the creek bed and you drove down and across and up the heighth of the banks shown here. I remember going across rushing water in my 1984 Bronco and feeling the tug of the current then. Many times I was unable to get to work because it would be washed out. Last July, both bridges going either east or west were washed out. Two people in a car went over this bridge when the water was rushing OVER IT. they only found one person a week after. Other one was never found. I can't imagine thinking you could get across it with how high the water was if it was going over the railing.

@RockChalkinTexas-0 I did not know that! And yes, it was pretty challenging.

@RockChalkinTexas-0 do you have any brands of puzzles that you like or don't like? I have actually thrown out two Buffalo brand puzzles. I've had very good luck with the Kodak brand.

@RockChalkinTexas-0 I used to drive a road in Louisiana that would flood. One spot was a curvey and even though the water basically wasn't moving you think you know a road until you can't see where the edge is anymore. Ditches down there sometimes are 4-6 feet deep and I would just turn around instead of risking drowning in a ditch trapped in a car.

So yes, driving across that bridge with water going over was a tragic and misguided decision.
