Kenpom has them as a top 20 defense… Boynton seems to get them to play up in this building. I’m hoping their lack of offensive firepower is a big difference for us. We should win and cover but they will have to shoot better then last time to make that happen

Just looked at Kansas’s schedule and the end of Jan is going to be brutal with road games at BU, UK, ISU. Kentucky is not good this year, but we all know they will get up for their match vs KU so i’m expecting another L but could easily see 2 road losses in that stretch.

I wonder how much Bryce would be contributing if he had stayed. Bryce is averaging 11.5 pts. I don’t think he’d be in our top 7, so not many minutes with us.

Trepidation. KU often seems to have trouble with OSU. They stayed with UConn earlier, losing by 10. Away game.

My disdain for Alabama and the SEC supersedes my dislike for KState so I’m hoping KState can win.
Texans really need to expand their sports interests. Ranked TCU playing on a holiday weekend afternoon and they can’t find 6800 people interested in attending a really good home game? Must be sad to be a fan of just about every other team in America, because most teams have many empty seats these days.

I saw future KStater Dai Dai Ames play the other night in a tournament. He scored 66 in a previous round. He’s really good. Watched Jacob Pullen’s younger brother in the 3rd place game for famed Proviso East as well. He’s coached by Donny Boyce and Sherrell Ford who were Proviso East teammates. Boyce played at Colorado. Ford played at UIC and they also weren’t the best known Proviso East Pirate, as Michael Finley made up a trio that were all drafted, two were their colleges all time leading scorer and Ford was only 13 points off from the all time best.
