Mason's D

I thought his D was tenacious! The Man gave it everything he had against a solid POY candidate, and that should make us all very proud. I was also proud that PE finally showed a lot of emotion which demonstrates a strong “the will to win.” It can be contagious!

@hawkmoon2020 i did notice Perry showing more emotion than normal. When he had a rebound and was fouled and lost the ball I think in the 3rd OT maybe?? and the ball fell in Hields hands who made a great three point shot, PE actually showed some disgust and was ticked off with his body language after that play. i mentioned to my wife when re watching it that I thought it was the most emotion he has shown maybe in all 4 years at Kansas. I think it translated into a good game don’t you think?

@Jayrawks1 I agree. But also thought he showed some tough emotions on 3-4 plays in the second half. Like he was either pissed or jazzed. At least he showed SOMETHING! LOL

Frank did a great job of defending Buddy. Stats don’t always tell the complete story.
-
@drgnslayr - Agreed
A lot of his great play was in ball denial. Several times he kept Hield from getting the ball at all and other times he forced him to get it at a time when he had fewer options.
It is different when as a playmaker you get the ball with 15 seconds left in the shot clock, than when you get it with only 7 seconds.
Frank did a fantastic job. So did Wayne early on.

@Crimsonorblue22 I posted that yesterday. You’re a day late and a dollar short
