About 35 miles from from Corvallis in Salem is the Oregon state capitol building. All marble, art deco/modern (none of that neoclassical B.S.). One of my favorites.
Not a beaver in the foreground–that’s a stocky cocker spaniel. She can swim like a beaver though!
