THE GAMBLER'S GUIDE TO TONIGHT'S GAME
-
Ok, Vegas has installed KU as a 9 point favorite in tonight’s tilt against the UCLANS. I look for KU to be able to run against them, and will slow down Alford Jr. and company enough to win 91-79.
-
I think we should handle them well enough to cover the spread.
I know point differentials among common opponents mean squat. But still found it interesting that UCLA vs UNLV was a two point game and that Chaminade vs UNLV was close for a fair portion of the game - think it was 54-53 with 12:30 to play before UNLV pulled away and won by 20.
Hoping Danny and the Miracles part II can upset Vandy, but that may be a tall order. Hard not to like Coach Manning.
surprised that Indisna vs St John’s was as close as it was.
-
@SoftballDad2011 That Vandy team is one tall team. That’s going to be a real challenge if we meet them in the championship.
-
I’m not trying to be negative but that spread is bogus. I see this as a one or 2 possession game and I’m just praying we come out on top. UCLA is much better than their loss to Monmouth, they have the talent to be in the NCAA tourney. They are big down low big enough to give our relentless attack to the rim problems. Hopefully our vets have good games

Seth Greenburg predicted UCLA would play a lot of zone to keep Mason out of the lane and to control Perry.
That could be the best thing that could ever happen to us.
-
Yes . Very talented too.
Wake has traded blows with them in spurts.
But Wake lost their legs yesterday when they only played seven (due to injuries and suspensions). 6 played thirty minutes.
Vandy played 12-13 yesterday and no one got more than 25 minutes.
Same thing tonite.
Vandy is in the driver’s seat in this one.
I think we can take them.
-
@SoftballDad2011 Step 1 : Beat the UCLANS Step 2 : Beat the Vandy. Rinse, lather, repeat.
-
Can I take back that spread bogus talk wowww
-
@BeddieKU23 still a lot of time left. They need to keep their foot on the gas.
