@wissoxfan83 So Fred’s 1 and 0 in his NBA coaching career. A friend of mine from KC, now living in Oakland, is at the nightcap game at Golden State for the ring ceremony. Bought the tix long before the Royals clinched.

@wissoxfan83 By all rights I shouldn’t even follow the NBA anymore. They took away the team I rooted for in my youth (the Kings) then the team of my adulthood (the Sonics). I’ll still watch a good matchup once in awhile though. Mostly I just watch the postgame with Barkley, Kenny & Shaq. Ten times better than Fox’s MLB postgame.

@nwhawkfan You’re getting to be an oldtimer to remember the KC Kings! Didn’t they split games with Omaha or something odd like that? I bet the players loved that.

@wissoxfan83 Yeah, for the first couple of years. Before I transferred to KU I went to Rockhurst U., where the Kings used to practice. I had a student job with the athletic dept. and got to watch the practices.
