Nice brand recognition

@JayHawkFanToo I found Boulevard brews waaaaay up here in Vermont! I was shocked! I heard about it being here from a coworker of all places and had to check it for myself. Talk about missing a taste of home. I mean, there are tons and tons of microbrews in Vermont. Really good ones too. It was just nice to see something from KC.

I was watching CBS’ excellent Sunday Morning reporter Mo Roca yesterday and he was sporting a KU shirt as he was doing a segment on window washers.

Interesting article but I don’t understand why Boulevard Brewery is mentioned as not making the cut…I would be very surprised if it did considering it is not in Kansas but in Kansas City, Missouri…
We no longer live in an age of state boundaries.
We live in the new age of frontiers.
There is no national boundary between USA and Mexico.
There is a frontier between two nation states.
Likewise with the state line in Kansas City.
It is now back to being much more as it was in the 1850s.
But we have said enough on this and we have to agree to disagree. And you must say no more.

The Boulevard Brewery produce excellent beer, Too bad they did not start a mile or two farther west on the Kansas side.
-
Did you read the original post? it was about KANSAS brands. I like Boulevard Beer and I buy it often…but it is not a Kansas brand…that’s all.

@jaybate-1.0 as a special agent I feel @VailHawk and I really need to protect that ks mizzou border! Wouldn’t want another border war, would we? No!

Did you read my post?
Do you ever read my posts?
Will you ever read one of my posts?
Do you ever read anyone’s posts?
Will you ever read anyone’s posts?
Did you even read my post in a parallel dimension?
Is reading my posts something you have ever considered doing?
Are you now, or have you ever been, a member of the post-reading party?
Oh, my, this is a fun rhetorical device.
May I keep using it along with “zinger plus n0 further discussion” and “I really get into your head” rhetorical devices, too?
For what its worth, I believe (in my opinion) that nothing more can be gained by discussing this further.
And I believe (again in my opinion) that there is no point to further discussion after I have my say.
Note: the above is satire. No malice.
Yeeeeeeeeee Hawwwwwww!!!
Satirizing seemingly disingenous rhetorical devices–its post-tastic!
(Note: I just couldn’t take your post seriously this time, when it started with “Did you read my post?” You didn’t mean it seriously, did you?)

The BIA likes your spunk.
You have now been given a fake raise we cannot pay.
It would be a frontier war in the age of frontiers as the nation state’s ability to enforce specific borders deteriorates.
But yes, we must defend against it.
Rock Chalk!
Sincerely,
Director/janitor BIA

I’d comment, but I see the thread bully is back at it again. Babbling B. S. served up on a platter. No wonder they practically celebrated when he left Kusports. I hope i never have such a pathetic need for attention.

Nor I.

Nor I !! and … I don’t EVEN know how to Babble !!
Perhaps I’m NOT an American !! There are some GREAT Rooster’s in the area that I grew up !!

@ParisHawk Thanks !!

“@jaybate-1.0 as a special agent I feel @VailHawk and I really need to protect that ks mizzou border! Wouldn’t want another border war, would we? No!”
I’ve recruited Donald Trump to promote the concept of building a wall between the two states. He said he’ll force Missouri to pay for it.
-
@drgnslayr Comb backs for everyone!
-
@drgnslayr good one! And… Mizzou will be happy to build it.
-
@ParisHawk we do know he doesn’t babble.
-
Since we’re talking borders, I think we ought to build a fence on the border. Just my two cents worth. Got to protect our jobs, our serenity, our very way of life. We just can’t risk having these desperate sad souls come in and steal our women and children and our economic security.
So build the wall now right down the state line between Kansas and Misery!
-
@drgnslayr GREAT comeback … Misszou has lots of the Green Stuff called CASH !!
-
Speaking of border wars (and it’s only my opinion), read first 100 pages of David McCullough’s 1992 bio of Harry Truman called TRUMAN. It’s one of the best discourses on how the Kansas-Missouri border hostilities evolved that I have found and I have read a few. It’s tilted a bit to the Missouruh perspective since it serves telling Truman’s life story.

“So build the wall now right down the state line between Kansas and Misery!”
And not to worry… we will maintain a tunnel between the states, too narrow for even the thinnest crackheads to crawl through but broad enough for their prized moonshine bottles to get through.

@jaybate-1.0 Not enough sleep looks kinda like Kung Fu Panda

@jaybate-1.0 Did you read my post in a flash sideways episode of Lost?
