A LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT

-
The Swiss have already arrived in Inchon. We play this team on July 8th.
-
747 layover in Detroit before direct flight to Korea.
-
First Class for the boys.
-
@wrwlumpy Nice!
-
From KU Sports.
-
@wrwlumpy Definitely riding business class.
-
I’d be in kimchi heaven over there!
-
@MoonwalkMafia I knew we had some One Percenter’s on this site. You are correct in your observation. This is the next area in front of the boys.
-
Tired tired tired. Jet lag and basketball.
-
Meanwhile, back at the Hudy Ranch, Svi is getting it done.
-
I would have Thought that Andrea would be traveling with the team but I will guess that she makes a lot of money in the Summer as personal trainer. It would be nice if she could join the team for at least part of the tournament.
-
@wrwlumpy Haha no not really. I just flew to Japan the other day and saw first hand what business class looked like…on my way to my seat in coach.
-
@MoonwalkMafia Thanks for the photo of what $15K/seat looks like. Flying coach to Asia stings & I’m no 6’ Those players wouldn’t know what to do with their legs all crunched up in coach seats for 14 hrs!! That’d be brutal. Hope they rest & adjust well to their time zone. Enjoying all the photos.

I’ll bet she would have gone if it weren’t for all the guys who can’t play but can train. Notice Graham who can’t rehab is in Korea but Greene who can rehab is at home working.
Hudy has to stay home for Greene and the aliens.
-
Notice that after almost 30 hrs. Of traveling the excitement and smile about the trip have abated. Let’s hope that there is a reason to smile on the way home. Maybe a medal could at least allow them to smile as they get back on the plane.
-
I thought Snacks was staying home to recruit.

-
USA Flag ceremony
Introduce yourselves to the Women’s Soccer Team.

High School Welcome for Coach.

Qwangju high school students watching the Jayhawks at their first practice. While a production of Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town” is being rehearsed on the gym stage.

I understand that he does a number of high end, and I imagine very profitable, training seminars in the summer and probably does not want to give up the income. I imagine that she could easily find a replacement to train the athletes that stayed at home but it would be impossible to use replacement for the seminars.
-
If you recall, there was discussion on a previous thread that other coaches were staying to recruit while Snacks was traveling with the team, and the speculation was that he was still in the doghouse and not allowed top recruit
-
@JayHawkFanToo might be a full time job- taking care of BG!
-
@drgnslayr Suppose we could contact somebody to bring us back a couple of cases?

-
