2025 Chiefs

Mahomes is gonna get killed!
-
@Crimsonorblue22 absolutely. If heās our leading rusher, we are screwed.
-
Mahomes is the only source of offense right now and I agree. We are gonna fart around and get him hurt.
-
Fuuudge
-
No reason in running that, Iām okay with going for it but the lack of running game is so detrimental to this team and was in the Super Bowl. You canāt take the air out of the ball and go on a long drive to give the D a rest.
-
Jeez. Not sure why u give up points like that. Weird call to go for it.
-
Also the way Mahomes has had to use his legs in these first two games, you may as well do a QB sneak in those situations
-
Did Mahomes shrink in the offseason? Heās had his share of batted down passes this year.
-
Hey we got a 4th and 1 running the ball, play call was much better.
-
Crap!
-
That was a huge drop by Travis there
-
Damn
What bad luck
-

Like I just told my son, the run is going to end at some point. Kelce/Jones are old and just not the players they once were. The O-line is average on the best day and the defense is much of the same.
-
@rockchalkjayhawk heās got cataracts. Well, dollar signs in his eyes. Canāt see anything but money.

I think the Eagles are just a better team. So, not predicting the end just yet. Other than the drop, no complaints about Kelce today. If he doesnāt drop it, weāre in the lead.
-
They need a spark
-
Worthy and rice
-
Some other dudes got hurt today as well, right? WR room is a mess.
-
-
Late hit?
-
The tush push works great with a head start everytime
-
@rockchalkjayhawk oh I aināt throwing in the towel at week 2. Just have a very long ways to go if they want to win the division
-
I also donāt think the eagles are a much better team, they have played mistake free today for the most part. The pick shouldāve been a touchdown and Butker missed a FG.
-
Their D is very good
-
Came up with a good game plan

I know you hate Mahomes but I have zero idea how anyone with any type of football knowledge could pin the losses on him.

I watched the cowboys game and itās crazy to watch other WRs get separation and catch the football. The chiefs had 4 drops today. I believe the giants and cowboys had 2 combined. The chiefs have lead the NFL in drops 2 of the last 3 years right in pace to start the season. We need to draft lineman and WRs
-
Like Brady was saying and Iāve heard from many others ----KC has NO vertical deep threat and no Iām not counting KCās last score as a deep threat.
With their personell they have to nickel and dime their way down a long field and that is not going to take to much time of the clock. It doesnāt help when officals give a good screwin twice in a row - - - ā That dam push tush needs to be stopped.- āa lot of talk about Hill possibly coming back via trade ā KC better hope so
-
@SlimShaddy54 the chiefs have zero threat at WR without Worthy and Rice. The truth be told even with them healthy that aināt a top 15 receiver room in the NFL. Iād take Miami, Dallas, Philly, Baltimore, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Denver, LA both clubs, Green Bayās receiver room over KCs all day every day. The problem is itās been the same problem for the last few seasons and it hasnāt ever been really addressed. Smith fighting and making that catch on 3rd and 10 was a huge play and one that I havenāt seen a KC receiver make since Hill was on the team. That ball shouldāve been picked
-
@kjayhawks Besides the fact that he canāt hit an open target anymore? He throws most passes in the dirt (astrodirt) or 5 feet over their heads. The few passes that are on target get dropped.
-
@nuleafjhawk that tends to happen when you are running for your life everytime you drop back. Imagine this team with Tom Brady, dude would get sacked 8-10 times a game.

Hollywood was supposed to be our quick guy. our deep threat. what happened to that? Is he just having to play out of position with all our injuries?
-
@rockchalkjayhawk I donāt know that Iāve seen anything from Hollywood in his career that makes me think of a deep guy. He can be useful in the slot and underneath with the guys around him. He has had trouble staying healthy and hasnāt ever been a number 1 guy IMO. If not mistaken heās in his 7th year and only played 2 complete seasons. One of those years he barely got over a 1k yards with 1,008. Just not a go to guy to me.
-
I honestly wonder if Matt Nagy isnāt a good chunk of the issue. Hard to tell for sure because everyone claims Reid calls the plays but ever since he came back to town, the offense hasnāt looked the same.
-
Hollywood had some really nice catches in some tight spots today

Yea, iām pretty sure that was the intent when signing him. For the deep ball. Apparently Lamar wasnāt very accurate with the deep toss, so maybe thatās why he never seemed a huge threat with his speed and supposed ability to separate. Nor was Kyler Murray.
Anyways, i think with all the weird injuries on the Chiefs and his other teams, heās never really fulfilled that spot very well.
I hope when the Chiefs have a full compliment of WRs he can step into that role sometimes.
