2024 MLB Season
-
The boys are playing some ball!
-
@AsadZ Royals doing some 1985/2015 Royals-type comeback things!
-
Another comeback W today!
-
I like it.
I think they need to strengthen bullpen and add another outfielder/bat to catch up Cleveland.

ya the Royals been playing well this Season, now I’m not here to start anything as most know I’m a NY life time fan, not here tryin to rile up anyone, giving credit where credit is due KC doing well - - Just Ny having a good year also -so far , in a dofg fight with Baltimore. got to admit my goodness Stanton and Judge have had some moon shots in this series. -436 ft - 445 ft and 449 ft those are some blasts
-
Royals starting pitching has been grounded after a solid start, June has not been kind.
They have played high caliber teams in past few weeks but still just sayin.
You have to compete with the best to play baseball in October.
-
Royals hitting is getting into “awful” category.
They cannot hit and score Runs…
-
@AsadZ Need to regain their mojo. Hope it wasn’t just lucky timing on the run production earlier in the season.
-
I hope so
The season is long but I hope they don’t get into a massive gap to catch up with Guardians who are smoking hot and playing really well.
-
@AsadZ I would be surprised if they caught Cleveland. Wild card I hope.
-
It was nice to win series 3-1, starting pitching was very solid in the series.
I am extremely impressed with Guardians scouting, farm and development system, year in and year out they are in contention without signing expensive FAs.
-
Royals have forgotten how to hit, very frustrating to see them lose games when hitters can’t score runs wasting solid effort provided by starting pitchers.
-
Royals traded for Harvey from Nationals for bullpen depth giving #2 prospect Caden Wallace and #39 draft pick.
What do you think about this trade?
Also, whatever happened to Jordan Lyles?
-
@AsadZ sounds like prior to the Nats he was constantly injured. From The Athletic:
Harvey’s so accustomed to being associated with injuries that he routinely takes digs at himself and his unfortunately brittle history. There was Tommy John surgery in 2016; a fluke shoulder injury in 2018 when he tried to get out of the way of a foul ball in Bowie’s dugout; and oblique, lat and triceps issues in 2021.
He has never made excuses about the injuries, but the reality is he couldn’t stay healthy as an Oriole. Even when he felt good, there was always that feeling of “what’s next?”
Also seems to have good stuff and a good attitude.
-
Just 10 years ago, the Royals were at the top of the MLB. It’s been a while now, but not so long that I can’t remember how sweet those 2014 and 2015 Royals were.
-
Entering into final month, can Royals keep pace and get into playoffs. They have a tough schedule ahead of them.
While Erceg has been lights out and an excellent addition at deadline, bullpen is still a mess.
Singer seems to be regressing.
I’d sit Garcia and play newly acquired Dejong over him.
-
@AsadZ I’m not really sure if Dejong can cut the mustard
-
KC now tied for 1st. Best record in AL since the All Star break.
-
Kickin rear!
-
The boys are playing some ball!
-
Witt, Pasquantonio and Perez have been rolling, more than 90 RBIs for all of them, I think it is a record.
If bullpen can hold I like KC Royals chances to win the division, I could have never imagined this earlier.
Kudos to Piccolo and Quatraro,
-
Who was the pitcher that left with hammy issues? Ugh, stretching a lil at first.
-
1st place!
-
The boys are playing some ball
-
@Crimsonorblue22 Lorenzen, hopefully he does not miss more than one start.
-
I am hearing that he is going on 15-day IL so it is not looking that good.
-
Pasquantonio out for the year and with Lorenzen and Renfro on IL, Royals chances of winning the division took a major blow.
Hopefully they can get WC spot.
-
What happened? My bro and his wife are going to all the games in Houston. Did it happen last pm? Dang, they can step up!
-
@Crimsonorblue22 It was a tragedy of errors. Astros on 1st and 2nd, hot comebacker up the middle that pitcher Erceg tries to barehand but only knocks it down (would have been DP if fielded), he gets ball and throws wide to Pasq at 1st, whose hand or wrist gets blasted by the runner. Both Erceg and Pasq had to leave the game.
We’re screwed.
-
Freak accident on first. Nighty night my fellow Royal fans! I’m not quitting on them, though
-
With key injuries Wheels are falling off, Royals can’t seem to score and pitching can only get you so far.
I’m still hoping Royals can get into playoffs as a wildcard team.
-
KC signed couple of veterans yesterday to bolster lineup, hopefully change of scenery will provide a spark…
-
Big series coming up against mighty NY Yankees, hoping for at least winning two games in this one, sorry @jayballer54
-
for what it’s worth here is my prediction for world series match up.----I think the ALCS will be The Orioles/Astros, - -Then it will be the Orioles/Philles & I think Philadelphia will be world Champions.
-
Jay, On paper it makes sense although when lights are bright in cool Oct nights strange things do happen.
-
Don’t sleep on the Dodgers
-
I’m so glad that Royals didn’t trade Salvy, he is heart and soul of this team and he has reached 100 RBIs, rare feat for a catcher.
-
@AsadZ Significant enough to warrant a Topps Now card about it!

-
Swept by Tigers
Yikes
WC spot could be in jeopardy
-
On a bright side I am very happy to see Bubic and Lynch getting their roles in bullpen and contributing positively.
-
How about Ohatani
50/50 club
Goat
-
Now I’ve got a serious question , and not trying to get anybody’s feathers ruffles or someone getting their panties all in a bunch-- -it’s a serious legit question .
Are you Royals still in the hunt for playoffs ? - seen where they just got swept b Detroit didn’t know if they got knocked out or not.
-

-
@jayballer67 ESPN site has all the standings. You can choose by division, by league, by how nonfirst-place teams stand in the wild-card race, etc.
You can also scroll right to see runs scored, differential, and other stuff. You can sort by almost every column.
-
Lol
-
Not looking good, lost 5 in a row now.
They just cannot get timely hits to score some runs.
-
Detroit lost too
-
One game lead over Twins but they win on tie breaker
-
Hanni just said things looking better, skies have lightened up quite a bit – barely raining , just spitting/light - - -sun poking through, shouldn’t be much longer before players start warming up. — 25 minute warmup
JD-6 just came out of runway , checking things-- -hopefully we finish with a W
