Well actually maybe not true. - -KU only has 79 offensive rebounds for the entire year. - -Hunter has 27 of those and no other Jay Hawk has more then 9 offensive rebounds on the year. We just suck on the offensive boards total
I looked at the stats, if Furphy played equal minutes to Hunter, Johnny would be 2nd by a couple boards on the year 2.4 per game at 36 minutes. That’s good for a guard. KJ is a terrible rebounder for a “post” player. McCullar should be better with his length and basketball IQ. Harris is used as a safety, maybe most are being used that way?
One and done trips are killer when the other team just keeps getting rebounds and shooting until it goes in. Sucks because rebounding is 90% effort.

I honestly think that was about as bad as we can play and probably the best I’ve seen them play so far this season. It’s only a 8 point game, no worries at this point

KJ is never “rewarded” free throws. Just added punishment. Poor guy has no stroke.

I am beginning to think like some others have said, I think Juan has got to start looking to score more.- -Look what has he taken 2 shots? - - made them both - -a 3 and then another, He is the 2nd best three point shooter at 45 % -If he doesn’t look to score, it’s basically 4-5 and they can double on other threats- - just got to become more aggressive
