Will weather be a factor tomorrow /predictions
-
Weather may play some role in the game tomorrow question is will it benefit us or hurt us ? - - Calling high of 43 degrees,70 % of rain in the afternoon - -but when in the afternoon is going to play a role. - Winds out of the North East 10-15 MPH.
I think if the rain moves in early then might be more beneficial for us then Oklahoma, just might effect their passing game some. - -I think that we might be better in our running game a even Oklahoma insiders have said they have not been able to really get their running game going a lot this year. – -I know it’s a stretch but hey any advantage we can get never hurts.
Bottom line though I’m just afraid they a little to much - I think it will be like Oklahoma 35- -KU 24
-
I REALLY want us to win, but the realist in me says OU - 58 / KU - 17.
-
@nuleafjhawk What is sad is we could be in the game for 2.5 quarters and this still be the result. Just not sure we are at the UT/OU level yet. We will see if we’ve made it up the the KSU level yet, though I’m concerned because being at the KSU level means being competitive in those games with the upper echelon and even winning a few. We got UT a couple of years ago but not sure that was representative of our true place in the pecking order. I do think KU’s offense will score 24+ so I’ll say 45-24 with a close game throughout but OU pulling away late.
-
@benshawks08 Right. I wasn’t able (thankfully now, I guess) to watch the Texas game, but I was following the score pretty closely on my phone. It went from being very close to a blowout in a very short amount of time.
I think we’re close to being a consistent Top 25 team, but we’re not quite there. But the progress we’ve seen with LL in just 3 years has been mind boggling.
-
I think we win it on a late field goal 43-42
-
I think we keep it close but run out of gas late. 41-31
-
OU has a way of reminding KU that there is a difference between an upstart and the establishment. Like KU basketball, but in reverse.
-
Got to thinking - -Has those little guys down the road I-70 - -have they EVER had College Game day- - OR Big Noon Kickoff either one come to Manhattan? - I don’t think. - - - - I could be wrong but I don’t think they have had EITHER ONE in a year, little lone BOTH in Back to Back yrs . - OH I bet they just wetting all over themselves crying, like what the hell they going to Lawrence for they won’t come here – that’s not fair lmao. - -ROCK CHALK
-
Well it’s time to kick it off, BE COMPETITIVE. - ROCK
edit: - -Good to see Jalen suited and on the side line - -maybe he will still get to play later this yr yet after all
-
Good guys by 3. Let’s take it to them
-
Silly play call call on that 4th down, let’s see what the defense can do
-
OK first drive, but KU desperately needed points
-
got to string plays together, low throws won’t cut it today
-
Mello Dotson
-
BOOYAH, TOUCHDOWN!!
-
well that was sweet. those are the kind of things that are a MUST if you want to pull the upset today
-
That will get some points! @jayballer67 Bean looks too amped up and throwing it low repeatedly. Hope he settles in
-
Defense came to play so far!
-
Keep it going. D is playing well!
-
got that pressure
- -Got that stop
-

hope so, D is doing a job so far, got to take advantage -can’t afford a turnover
-
I was about to disparage Bean
-
Hishaw running hard today
-
Nice to see all the KC fans in their red in the stands. They should cheer more though
-
Nice run from Devin

Hishaw running hard today
yes he is - -that’s one tough dude
-
Hishaw is toying with them LOL what a great run
-
If we can keep running the ball like this I like our chances
-
This is about as great a start as possible for KU. Dominant running game keeping Gabriel off the field and the defense not giving up explosive plays.

Hishaw on a mission , long way to go but playing inspired

Running the ball well powerful runs
-
Ref in the bag
-
Starting to rain in my part of Lawrence
-
OU woke up not, late hit for pushing a guy smh that weak sauce
-
@DanR turn it in to a sloppy mud bowl while we are up 14 lol
-
Ref scored that td
-
Refs ain’t gonna let the Sooners lose
-
That ball was out before the whistle. KU just got fucked on that one.
-
@Texas-Hawk-10 why wasn’t it reviewed is my question
-
KU can’t let these BS calls get in their heads, like DL was saying on the radio, on the OU should of been fumble, he says they didn’t all forward progress a couple of years ago did they - -that should of been KU ball
-
I rewound that and the ball literally hit the ground at the whistle

Exactly total bullshit call

Refs said forward progress which isn’t reviewable.
-
Need another turnover or big mo play by the defense
-
Worst outcome after giving up that TD. Short drive and not giving the defense a chance to rest.
-
Not a great time to start throwing the ball
-
Fairchild has to catch that though.
-
Yes, time of possession is key
-
Move the chains Make tackles No stupid penalties Get turnovers Get lucky
-
Forgot: ACT OF GOD
-
This could be beneficial to slow OU’s momentum right now.
