  • So how does this viral twitter thing work @BShark whats the magic sauce? https://twitter.com/approxinfinity/status/1511312512574230544?s=20&t=bC5Zxu5GLgRWFvuJDybTeg

  • Make it so, Number 1.

  • 🤝

  • Being MOP likely would have clinched it. More complicated case now.

He has over 1100 points and over 650 rebounds. Definitely not pedestrian numbers, but at a school like Kansas, where getting your jersey retired is necessarily hard, I’m not sure he makes the cut without some individual honors.

That’s part of why I wish he had gotten MOP. It would have made it an automatic. Despite my criticism of his play, I actually have always liked Big Dave. He seems like a good guy. He’s worked hard to improve since arriving at KU. He’s battled through adversity. Even when he wasn’t a good fit, he didn’t pout or complain - he just kept working. And now he’s a champion. I’m extremely happy for him that his last three games as a Jayhawk were three of his very best. He wrote his own perfect ending and deserves the recognition for that.

  • @justanotherfan i think Bill Self has the juice to get it done. Should strike while iron is hot.

Hopefully Dave comes back. I’m thinking JW, Braun and Big Dave coming back would sure be nice.

  • When they mentioned graduating in 3 years last night I was floored. That is a great accomplishment. When you combine a rigorous practice schedule and academic schedule so you can graduate early, I’m, like wow, amazing.

  • Dave could come back but every indication I have seen shows him as gone. Tbh he has nothing to gain from coming back unless he wants to add to his education. If he intends to continue plying BB beyond college now would be the time to go as a freshly crowned champion who finished his career at an unbelievable level.

  • Dave showed - -and he showed when we needed him to show. - Been a lot of people really talk poorly about him from time to time yet he just kept working - -there was multiple games this year he carried us for big stretch’s where if it wasn’t for him we would of been in trouble. - - Kid is built solid and he has done well and I for one am glad he played for the University of Kansas. He is just another guy that I don’t think got the appreciation he really deserved, kinda of in that Landen Lucas mold - not extremely talented but solid - -did he have bad games ? - -Hell ya he did but who on this team didn’t - -it happens.

Yet I think when people look back people will be glad he was a member of the team. - - look at what he did in the tourney and ya this is just three games BUT : - Villanova - - -25 points- -9 Rebounds - - -Miami 15 points - - North Carolina - -15 points - - and 10 rebounds - -I’ll take that ANY DAY - -Good luck big boy - - gonna miss you - - ROCK CHALK
