Love him or hate him and Duke, you gotta give him big credit. 1K wins in 40 years is a big deal. Hall of fame stuff. I saw the espn thing on him. Good program. I have lots of respect to Coach K for this

Credit to Coach K on an amazing milestone. Would be silly to not recognize what he has done for three-plus decades.
The nice thing is that we’ve been right there with the Dukies. KU and Duke are the winningest programs since 1980 and are probably the closest thing to rivals that there is at the top of basketball.

Coach K has run a consistently good programs for a long. long time. This is hard to do, particularly when you also run a clean program at at school with high admission requirements. His contribution to the USA National teams has also been big.
I know at times, and as rival, we don’t like him much, but you cannot question his coaching acumen or success.
Congrats Coach “K,” enjoy the record until one William Self breaks it.

When did Dish channel 140 and DirectTV 206 become the Kentucky Wildcat network?? I thought the SEC didn’t allow their member schools to start their own network?

Best part of the game is that it was a BE game so broadcasting rights were Fox’s when all this time the Network has been K’fatuated.

@wissoxfan83 HA! It’ll be like in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade with that old sage lookin guy stuck in the ancient cavern death trap, he cant leave cuz his immortality wont last past the seal. THat’ll be Coach K, He wont be able to leave Cameron Indoor or he will turn to dust and he’ll be all in chain mail and a white templar knight big shirt thing…when he wins 2000. LOL!
