. Planning on going to the fb game w/my boys too. Trying to figure out logistics. Probably should do it all, don’t get chances like that!

I’m not going to the game, but I’m interested in it. After last week’s offensive explosion that was reminiscent of the Boston College game, it will be interesting to see how the offense does against Tech. Secondly, will the defense even bother to show up today? KU just needed one defensive stop in the second half to pull off the win against Texas, but couldn’t do it. Special teams has not been a plus for us all year. That blocked extra point kick that turned into two points for Texas really was a heartbreaker. I sure hope KU puts all the pieces together this evening and gets a solid Big 12 home win. RC

The big key for us tonight is being able to take care of the ball - -no give aways. - - was listening to the Texas Tech play by play guy last night in an innerview with local sports guys here off Topeka radio - -he said they are good at taking the ball away - - creating turnovers - have like 9 in the last 3 games - -making the QB uncomfortable -we can’t afford to hand them the ball over and over and expect to win.
Carter has got to make good reads - -be smart - - he was saying that actually Texas Tech was actually feeling a little better with our change in OC and the RPO - -cause he said the RPO that this league plays almost weekly , so not really much new to prepare for this- -the key he said for them to win was obviously was containing Pooka. - said the kid is a freak with break away anytime he touches the ball. - -we just got to play smart - -Tech’s defense is better for sure then Texas - -we can win this thing if we play smart.- -let’s do this - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

ya I watched it for sure. - -just wasn’t here for the game chat - -seen some good , yet seen things that were along ways from good - -but it’s fine - were gonna be fine. - - Braun looks like he might be a little better then what some thought - -looks like he is going to be able to help.

Sadly, I always have a bad feeling before every football game. Perhaps, KU is feeling some confidence from the offense’s success against Texas. But, the defense must play better to give us a chance.

I’m hoping we the fans will get out and back the team tonight. If we have less then 35-40,000 tonight will be a major disappointment.
It’s tie we let them know we are seeing they’re progress. - -ya ya I know - - am i going - - No - BUT because my truck is broke down and in the shop entire new clutch system - - yippee. - -these guys need our help let the opposing team there is some fire.
I say - -KU 34 - - -Tech 31 - - - -Tech is giving up 184.7 yards rushing per - -( 93 rd ) - - in the nation - - - an average of 4.57 per rush attmpt - -BUT we haven’t stopped anybody in their rushing - -we have got to get stops - -they average 150.7 yards rushing - that might not be good for us - -we are giving up 223.4 yards rushing per game - - dam that sucks - -a 4.9 per clip - -you get 5 yards per makes the offense pretty simple - -time to shut it down - - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@jayballer73 I looked at Tech’s stats and they rely on the pass way more than rushing. Their passing yds is twice the amount of rushing yds. So, if our doggone secondary will show up, maybe our rushing offense will outscore Tech.
