    1. Kansas (8) 80
    2. Baylor (1) 71
    3. Texas Tech (1) 62
    4. Texas 57
    5. West Virginia 45
    6. Oklahoma St 42
    7. Iowa St 30
    8. Oklahoma 29
    9. Kansas St 23
    10. TCU 11

I wonder who (other than Self) didn’t vote Kansas to finish in 1st place.

  • Bruce?

  • Texas Tech at #3 is very high. I understand that Beard is a good coach and they had a great year last year but return 2 players that played for that team. Already lost a scrimmage to UTEP by 10 so far. Beard has his work cut out for him

  • @BeddieKU23 CJ Moore has them at 9th and has a few charity bets going with Tech fans on twitter lol.

    IMO…

    1. KU

    2, maybe even 1B. Baylor

    3-9. everyone else

    1. TCU

Very interesting year in the middle.

  • @BShark

Iowa St at #7 is not accurate I believe.

Haliburton is an NBA PG. Getting the Penn St transfer eligible really helped their backcourt depth. Nixon is a Sr guard who scored at Colorado St and sat out last season. Jacobsen will be one of the 5 best bigs in the league all season. Conditt gives them added depth on the inside. Probably the biggest question is who reliably plays the wing and 4 position for them but there is no way West Virginia or Oklahoma St are better then them on paper talent coming into the season.

Agree I think after Baylor there are question marks for everyone. Texas has stockpiled talent but has an average coach at best. Tech is breaking in 9 new guys. West Virginia was terrible and the talent level is not what it once was even with a 5 star big men in the fold. K-St is down big time, same with TCU. OU could surprise but will rely heavily on a freshman PG to run the show. Okla Lite returns 5 guys, a transfer and 5 freshman. Very difficult to predict what the league will become

  • @BeddieKU23 I think any of Tech, Texas and ISU could easily finish 3rd. You could write fan fiction where KSU gets there but I do think they are closer to 4th than 9th. Likely in the 5-6 range which is classic Bruce.

I don’t know about Brucey’s bunch. Sure Jawa, Sneed & Mawien gives him a solid core trio, McGirl has had his moments. The roster outside of the freshman Gordon is garbage. I don’t think he has a tournament bunch this season unless the rest of the roster somehow is better then it appears

The absolute kool-aid chuggers think Dajuan Gordon can give them 12+ a game. I think closer to 7 is realistic for him.

Agree on the rest of their class. The incoming bigs are so bad that they are looking at starting Levi Stockard. Who knows maybe he took some kind of leap but he looks like a hobo version of Landen Lucas to me. I don’t think they should expect anything from a JUCO that is #48 in the JUCO rankings.

  • @BShark

Agree. Gordon will be good in time and I think he flashes some this season. 12 a game only happens if they are so bad that he’s immediately a top 3 option for them which is not out of the realm there. They have a very weak post situation going on. Mawien can be decent but I can’t imagine KU is scared with what we have in the front court.

  • Mawien had a career game against us!

  • @Crimsonorblue22

He did and they still lost by 16😬

  • @Crimsonorblue22 @BeddieKU23 We’ve got um, mildly better athletes on the interior this year as well.

  • @BeddieKU23 that always happens.
