Lucky to not be down 10 after this horrible stretch
-
CHUCK
-
I think Dedric has the worst rim luck in the country.
-
Take Charlie out please.
-
this looks like a bad pickup game
-
Kansas going to the line for their first free-throw of the game.
-
I’d like for someone to ask Self why Moore plays and on top of that why he has the greenest of green lights .

Looked like a dislocated ankle. Might be done for the year.
No way. If it’s dislocated, he’d be back in a couple months maybe even slightly less.
A dislocated ankle is 3 months in a best case scenario. Sincerely, someone who has done that multiple times.
A dislocated ankle more than likely will require surgery to repair (both of mine did), 4-6 weeks in a boot post surgery, and about 3 months of no cutting or other change of direction activities.
If it’s dislocated, it’s closer to 4-5 months because of his size and what he needs to able to do to be effective.
Didn’t think of how big he is. Also I am trying to remember pretty far back to personal experience so I could very easily be remembering wrong.
Well, that sure would suck majorly then.

And why Dave doesn’t play

Chuck gives himself the green light.
-
If Doke’s ankle was dislocated, would they snap it back in place and let him walk off the court?

Also insane. He’s a lot better than Mitchy.

Lazy defense, Vick.
-
I WANT DAVE
-
Make up call
-
I’d really like for Seld to draw some play (s) up for Q. Get him the ball in the post. Do anything.
-
6 to 6 to start
then a 13 to 6 run us
then 9 to 12
-
Okay refs.

Me too.

Poor rebounding effort tonight.
-
Best two minutes of the game were when the Wild Giant was in
-
Kareem with the sky-hook. Blocked by Chamberlain. Oh wait… no…
-
Moral of the story, Dave is better than Dedric so far
-
Clock stopped

The reason Wafford isn’t shooting the three well is because our defense has been good. Haven’t given them very many open looks at all.
-
Good lord this team can’t shoot.

Agree, I’ve been impressed with this.
-
Grimes and Garrett have really played good defense tonight.

Now this I would calm down on lol.
But Dave can absolutely play and should play more.
-
Good D, but the offense is SHT

SHOCKED by how solid Grimes has been on D. Just hasn’t done much offensively.
-
Well, bill, you could put Dave back in to get some boards instead of KJ
-
@DanR I like good offense and making shots, but good defense is what I really want to see.
-
Keep up the same effort on D and just be a little more effective on offense and this can be a win.
-
Friends I’m fairly worried Doke broke something there and just made our season a lot tougher.
-
Self said it was a high ankle sprain for Doke
-
They said its a high ankle sprain, out indefinitely.

PRAISE THE SUN GOD AMON-RA if true.
-
Where is the high ankle? I’ve never understood that.
-
Doke with a high ankle sprain. Silvio would be nice about now.
-
Could they X-Ray that quickly? I mean surely not…
-
The replay looked like it wasn’t facing right, be very lucky if no ligament damage or breaks from what I’ve seen.
-
High ankle sprain is not good. http://www.aofas.org/footcaremd/conditions/ailments-of-the-ankle/pages/high-ankle-sprain.aspx

I mean, we have Dave if Self would play him more. Dave is really good, just needs some more experience at this level. Confidence will also come with playing more.
-
Chuck Moore is really struggling with his shot. Through this half he’s 6/23 or 23%. From 3, Chuck’s 2/14 or 14%. But, a shooter has to shoot his way out of a slump.
-
I guess the question is was Dave better than Doke in the first half?

He’d be ready for the NCAAT.

I would argue yes. 13-6 with Dave in.

Here’s an explanation on the high ankle sprain (OW).
A high ankle sprain, also known as a syndesmotic ankle sprain (SAS), is a sprain of the syndesmotic ligaments that connect the tibia and fibula in the lower leg, thereby creating a mortise and tenon joint for the ankle. High ankle sprains are described as high because they are located above the ankle. They comprise approximately 15% of all ankle sprains.[1] Unlike the common lateral ankle sprains, when ligaments around the ankle are injured through an inward twisting, high ankle sprains are caused when the lower leg and foot externally rotates (twists out).
