Short memories or they just don’t care once they see the coach will still be there. That seems to have been big for Arizona and Louisville.

Just finished reading about Zeke and meeting with North Carolina. Zeke’s dad said North Carolina came up an I told them , we are not going to change out timeline. NC said No we don’t want you to change - - - So Zeke said If you want to make a compelling pitch - – you have the floor
NC pitch was - - - - Their pitch was they liked Zeke’s skill set , said they thought Zeke was in the mold of Maye only more athletic , they look and want him to stretch the floor - -They see him and Bacot and him co-existing
NC said that it is one of the best programs in the Nation - -if not THE BEST , That they have 3 Championships - -Have a really good strength and Conditioning Coach.
Then here is the part for me that I find–how do I even put it - -anyways Zeke’s dad said that ( that Zeke will make a verbal around Thanksgiving and then sign a LOI in the Spring ) - – -Hmmmm. My question to that is- -WHY - - -I think I know why , I have my own thoughts on that But why do you think? - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY?

@jayballer73 Well their initial planned announcement date of Nov 24th is after this early signing period. So they could not sign an NLI if they wait that long to announce.

@BShark Well the early ends on the 24th - but ya he might wait till then or could be a couple of days earlier - actually he stated in another interview - it would be AROUND the 24th - -so could be earlier.
Actually what I think is - - he is one of these types that wanna see in the end run who is gonna leave - -wait and see if any OTHER schools offer him - what he think might be even a better offer - he wouldn’t be bound - he could back out of his verbal. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Oregon coaches visit is today I believe. Still no official time frame, but it should be during or before the early signing period.

Zeke is going to unofficially visit UNC on November 16&17 and will announce on Nov 23.

@BeddieKU23 You know , Mabe he will - - Maybe he won’t - -end up at UNC - -BUT I’m not buying what you guys are selling as far as the negative spell in this un official to UNC as people are trying to make it out to be - -I’m not buying into that as much as some are maybe he will -BUT - -He made an unofficial - -here and the turned right around the following Weekend and made his official the following weekend or visa versa - - -ya ya UNC wasn’t in his final 5 – - I think some are just over reacting as far a that goes on these visits.

@BShark Mercy. – It is a good thing that we at least will have a couple coming back. - -It will be vital that Big Dave really puts in some hard work over the summer too. - -Looks like it very well be McCormack and Lightfoot that doesn’t look to intimidating at the present-- I think we miss on Hurt too.
Yet you never know Coach might find that overlooked player that slips through the crack.- - I think you have said it-- and I have said multiple times. --I for sure think this FBI thing has for sur hurt our recruiting especially with the Big’s The Big’s we felt really good about during the off season.

At this point in time I’m not sure why they wouldn’t recruit and take Chandler. I know most think he’s not very good, but he’s rated higher than the two kids we have.

Chandler is a major project. As for the rankings I think McBride is a guy whose skills moreso translates immediately to the D1 level. Not the best athlete but a very good shooter. He looks to me like he will be a very good, 4 year college guard. I’m still pretty w/e on Braun, need to see him play. I think with the position the staff is in, they could regret not really recruiting Chandler but we will have to see how it all shakes out.

Fans would be disappointed in Chandler for a while, he would benefit from a red-shirt and a lot of hard work with the staff. He’s not a plug and play recruit despite being in the Top 100 imo.

ESPN shows Chandler Lawson as having an offer from KU.

KU has extended over 40 offers in the class.
Everything out there points to him ending up somewhere else.
Chandler’s younger brother Jonathan could be a recruit KU is involved with down the road

Looks like the clown show might hit town before long. I see zero chance LaMelo plays at KU and a slim chance he even plays college. A coach would have to be crazy or desperate to take on that family’s freak show.

Blue blood recruiting, maybe sans UNC, is going to be subpar this year. UK looks like they’re going to whiff on some of their main targets, Dook may be done after getting Ellis, and we’re really only chasing Stanley, Hurt, and Nnaji, and guaranteed to get none of them. Weird year.

KU will need to add bodies if they miss on any of these guys (perhaps all three). So it could be that we really don’t even know the names of 3-4 guys that will be on the team next year. Unless of course we have some surprise returns, which I wouldn’t complain one bit about. Going to be verrrrry interesting.

I’ve never considered KU the favorite for Stanley, and we agree that it would be a big surprise if he were to pick KU, so we’ll look in the spring for another guard. I still think we get at least one of Nnaji and Hurt. Still a chance we have one of Silvio, Dedric, or Doke. One of each group and we’re cooking with gas. Add KJ, Mitch, McCormack and that’s a really good frontline. Dotson, Garrett, Moore, and Ochai are good enough at guard. Whatever we can get from McBride and Braun is a bonus.

Ok , so I’ve been doing some Thunking - - I do that every now and then. So again I was thunking about how we have been doing or losing out some this season Soooo , he is what I was Thunking lol
So let’s say IF and this a HUGE If - -BUT if there was some way - -Anyway that Silvio gets cleared and then we could maybe get him to come back for a year next season ( which I really don’t see that but ) – get him to come back - -get KJ to come back having him work really hard during the off Season - -and then Maybe recruit here a little more and maybe pick up Chandler Lawson -I know nothing special but get us that 4 year player - get these 3 guys and then if that played out - wouldn’t be so bad ya think? - - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
