Anyone remember when Bobby Knight offered the 8th grader back in the '80s? That was Damon Bailey, who eventually became the leading scorer in Indiana HS history and a 3rd team All American. Never too early!
Here in SC is one we might want to keep an eye on.

You know it’s really pretty remarkable how some kids are developing these days. I mean this kid with continued work/routine if he wants to stay after it seriously I think we could agree just very well might turn out to be a really sought after kid.
I mean you watch this clip , he already seems to have decent ball handling skills , can attack the hole - -looks like he can finish through some contact - - - -can shoot outside , - - - you can see where he has a couple decent moves already - -nice little fade away - - - --makes blocks -pretty much a complete player. - -It’s all about how serious about the game - -if he is willing to put the work into it - -I mean he has right now - -but will need to just continue - -and if he does? - - -YA I would agree with you for sure - for sure someone to keep an eye on- The one thing I am kind of curious about though is he really 7’2? - - – I’m not sure about that , kinda wonder - doesn’t really TOWER over the other boys as much for surposed to be that height. - -Could be - -but might have to see more to believe he is 7"2 but could be . - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Sorry just some other things I noticed and failed to mention. - - -Nice crossover - - got some shake and bake - - fakes , continuation play - -I sit back and watch and think -kids like this - - at this age just shouldn’t be able to do some of these things - -not as well as this anyways = =AND is a lefty - - something about a left handed shooter I think for some reason a little harder to defend against a lefty -ok I’m done - - -For now lol. - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Sorry guys I’m getting old - - - really old lol. - -The kid I thought BShark was talking about isn’t 7"2 - got him confused with the kid that MayJay was talking about in the title - - - no wonder I was questioning the height lol

@mayjay the thing you have to worry about what this kid though is an overactive pituitary gland guys that grow that quickly usually have knee problems

LOL
So yeah he’s more like 6’4’’ but he’s just entering high school next season. He’s already really good and from Lansing like I mentioned I’d bet he gets a KU offer.
