Still no respect...

From USA Today: Villanova’s national player of the year, Jalen Brunson, and Kansas’ Big 12 player of the year, Devonte’ Graham.
From SI: Villanova’s pair is wholly among the top-five players in the country, according to kenpom.com’s rankings, with Brunson second and Bridges fifth. Neither Graham nor Mykhailiuk are rated that highly…

I’m ok with the disrespect. I like a team that plays with a chip on their shoulders. The Eagles rode that chip to a SB and KU can ride that ti cutting down some nets Monday night!
-
@HawkInMizery agreed. Hope they use it as bulletin board material
-
You and me both! I’ve been telling my friends for months that this team would cut down nets in April
-
Seems like Kansas is enjoying the Rodney Dangerfield treatment.
-
Duke’s entire starting five are possible NBA first round picks. We sent them home! Who cares about predictions.
-
Funny I’ve been reading a lot here on our site, and there’s not many saying 'Nova has a chance. I tend to agree.
-
Nova will blow us out, if they have a good shooting night and we don’t. Self said they have five trey shooters, where as we have 4 and a big guy committee.
If we both shoot the rock well, then I would expect our bigs to tip the balance in our favor.
But five trey ballers burying three pointers for 40 minutes is too much to overcome on an off shooting night.
And we will make fast work of them if they are cold.
-
We’ve had best teams in the field before that didn’t make it. Why not the other way around in our favor this time.
I didn’t believe in this team midway through the season. Thought it would be a miracle if we win the big12 and any victory in the tourney would be a bonus.
Never have been happier about being wrong!

@FarSideHawk Who are the others in the top 5? I’m guessing they aren’t playing anymore!
CBS did a rating of the 20 starters in the F4. DG #2, MN 7, SM 9, UA 13 and LV 14. He said it was based on the entire season but he acknowledged moving MN up because of his past 3 weeks. (I think LV would get a boost too.). Brunson 1, Bridges 3.
