Trades I would like to see

    • Josh Donaldson: Can rotate at 3rd with Moose and DH. Would have an Arbitration year next year so he would still be under control. Could slide Moose to 1B next season.

    • Jose Bautista - DH. Would cost almost nothing.

Both of those guys could be had for the right package. Say Cuthbert, and Two mid-level Double A prospects. And Moss if they want Moss.

    • Johnny Cueto reunion. Word is he may opt out of contract next season, so he could be affordable.

    • Ryan Madson reuinion. Dude is putting up a 2.34 ERA in Oakland.

    • Andrew McCutchen. Perfect fit in KC. Cheap contract next season. Would have to give up a good piece for him, but I think it would be worth it. Would let us have an elite defensive RF.

    • Addison Reed. Mets Closer. Could be a perfect fit.

    • Jed Lowrie - poor mans Zobrist have a solid season. Between him and Whit we could give everyone but Salvy and Cain a day off.

    • Pat Neshek could be had for cheap. 1.40 ERA as a closer this year. And a Free agent next season at 37 years old. Might be able to get him for a bag of flaming dog poo.

    • Todd Frazier - Again a DH that could be had for cheap. Dude can’t hit for average though.

    • Jay Bruce - DH.

  • I do not like Bautista and Donaldson. They are arrogant players, especially Bautista. They can cause chemistry issues in the clubhouse. I think we need at least one quality starting pitcher.

  • @Kcmatt7 hey Matt I was waiting for someone to “give” it to u about 🦇 And Donaldson!🤣 Not exactly fan favorites! I say that as I vote for moose a million times!

  • The bat-flipping arrogance of Jose would fit in nicely with a couple of AL East cities I won’t name so as not to get anybody’s dander up.

  • @Crimsonorblue22 bet you’d root for them if they were wearing a Royals uniform…

  • @AsadZ Winning fixes everything…

  • If McCutchen is actually available I’d give up any prospect but Mondesi. He’s LoCain insurance and gives us the potential to be the best defensive outfield.

  • @Kcmatt7 Mondesi outfield? He’d play 2nd and Merrifield in outfield. Personally I’d give up Mondesi and let somebody else spend 3-4 years teaching him how to hit.

  • @brooksmd no, McCutchen would be the insurance.

Mondesi is only in a deal for a trade like the James Shields where we get a stud and another decent veteran.

And he’s been hitting the sh*t out of the ball in AAA. He’s not far away…

  • @Kcmatt7 His minor league stats have always been decent. Pitching in the bigs is not the same as the minors. So far in 2 seasons he hasn’t been able to hit pitching in the bigs. Even Ned said they weren’t counting on his offense when they gave him the starting 2nd base spot this year. What may give him more time to learn how to hit bigs pitching is the fact Merrifield is more diverse defensively.

  • @brooksmd He has never hit this well in the minors though.

He’s really close to having it click. Just my opinion though.

  • @Kcmatt7 I’m a mondesi fan too! I also like ramone Torres.

  • @Kcmatt7 I couldn’t root for them.
