Okay you sunnsafemaledogs! Which one of you ran my car battery down in a rainstorm....
-
@Crimsonorblue22 I’ll rewind your this 3 word phrase, and cue it up with full-on DickieV voice “are you ser-ious?!”, with camera of course panning to Mason, or as ESPN is prone to do, at JoshJackson/diaper-dandy-of-the-moment…

Now you will have to sit in parking lot the rest of our season.
Put my eyes out!!!
-
Big boy only had 2 boards. Motley had 6 to’s
-
only 2? AMAZING!!!
-
Think Final Four.
-
Does Scott Drew deserve the KU game ball? Did he do anything unusally stupid?
-
Motley had 2 charges-they called. More they didn’t call.
-
We played really hard!
-
Maybe we will hang a play hard banner like ksu?
-
Oh, that is music to my ears. I was hoping Self was going to amp them for this one.
-
We had 8 blocked shots- they had 2. Josh Jackson is the best freshman ever- he had 4 blocked shots. We are a national title team.
-
God that banner was funny.
Maybe KU should make a real one and hang it up in Allen Field House for every KSU game.
-
Okay, everyone, I’m going to peel down and shower off in some hot water before I infarct.
Have a great rest of your day all!!!

-
@jaybate-1.0 I did it!!!
-
@Lulufulu we did play some zone
-
@jaybate-1.0 Good Grief. Are you at least able to watch a replay. I have it on my DVR it you want to come by.
-
@jaybate-1.0 I agree. I watched the entire game and I still am amazed we won with Svi and DG going 2 for 18 and Josh only 1 rebound. NO WAY!!! But yes way. Just hope we have enough left to finish thru early April. Just a fab job Jayhawks!!!
-
The answer is Frank Mason 3
KU did play 2-3 zone quite a bit in H1 and early part of H2
-
-
The block stat blows my mind. We give up a ton of length and block them 9 times?
-
@Blown smart play and ball movement negates length. I think people overestimate the effect of length on a smart well coached team. Remember Nova last year? Were they a long team?
-
I’ll take a small fast team over a tall team any day!
-
@jaybate-1.0 wow that’s a crazy afternoon
-
@Crimsonorblue22 you say that but if Self coaches Baylor players this year and Drew coaches Kansas players, Self still wins. Like the old Bear Bryant quote. “He can take his and beat yours and he can take yours and beat his”
-
@Blown I just meant I would
-
imagine what Bill could have done with all of the big men that Scott drew has waisted !
-
@jaybate-1.0 and conversely, imagine how little Drew would have gotten out of Lucas who has proven to be so valuable under Bill.

You know EXACTLY how this happened. You even mentioned it in your post:
KU’s sixth man, Scott Drew

We had a lot of steals as well. I just got finished watching as I had some other things to do today. Kind of reminded me of WVU. Slept walked through much of it, not quite as badly as Monday night. It was one of those the only real satisfaction was the final result type of games. Was kind of ugly, we barely led ever during the game. Game winning points come off of FT’s by Lucas. That foul thankfully was called but when it happened I thought they were going to call a jump instead but replay showed verticality was violated and Lucas made them pay.
-
@jaybate-1.0 We won because Landen shot 100 free throws AFTER!!! The West Virginia game. After the game by George. Check out the article on the LJW site. How about the press goes crazy over a totally responsible and good student athlete like LL instead of all the alleged behavioral caca? 100 after the most exhausting emotional game of all time. Good Lord what a kid!

The ESPN guys kept saying it wasn’t a foul during the NC-UVA game last night. I think they were only looking at the right hand on the top of ball, and missed the fact that the left arm was across Lucas on the way up and the right arm was all over LL’s wrist and arm. They often don’t call that when the hand is all the way on top.
But, it probably could have been called either way. Bang-bang plays are much harder to call than the level of precision available with the 3,276 slo-mo replays we all get to watch.
At least BU had a chance after that play, so it didn’t decide the game.
