Chiefs final playoff push
-
Seems like the chiefs have played every AFC team that is ranked higher this season and several of the top NFC teams. The schedule has been about as tough as it could be.
-
@bskeet Since they started the schedule revamp several years ago it means you play a great schedule if you get to the superbowl. It was such an advantage for the Pats to play in the weakest division in football for two decades they basically had bye weeks with how bad the Jets and Dolphins were for a long time.
-
Kinda frustrating that Jason Bean may not get a chance in Indy. They are going to sign 44 year Phillip Rivers to play. Seems pretty silly to me, you got a young that could have future or an old guy that is years past his prime

Go chiefs! Still cheering for them!

@kjayhawks2.0 looks like a 2025 6th round pick got the start at qb? Just saying they dont seem to be averse to young inexperienced qbs

Flag!

-
No catch!
-
Booooooo!
-
Guys I have zero idea as to wtf a catch is anymore. The first one the ball is moving until he traps it against the ground and the second one he doesn’t secure til he is out of bounds. I hate watching how much separation opposing WRs seem to get while Mahomes has to throw thru a window the size of a tic tac

Some very weird calls and non calls today. Everybody too cold to care?

That first PI on Thornton, it was so bad Trent Green was laughing in the booth. He was seconds early wasn’t even remotely close. The second one the DB didnt even look for the ball and most the time that gets a flag sometimes with little or no contact.
-
Mahomes Jalon Danielsed. That might be all she wrote
-
@Jayhawk_69 Mahomes has been trying to do too much here the last few weeks. We have to get some receivers that can actually get open. It’s ridiculous watching every other team have guys that get 2 steps on DBs
-
Fitting end for the season, why even throw that ball, you can kick and still have a chance
-
I feel bad for Pat. He played very well and kept his team in the game despite the officiating, the drops, and tbe bad o-line play. But he made one bad play. Then he gets a chance to rectify it, only for the Chargers to take him out with a dirty hit. Hopefully the GOAT makes a full recovery.

Thank goodness I was busy and didn't watch it

They have to get him someone that can catch the damn football. He hasn’t been great this season but half of his picks hit is receivers in the hands. @nuleafjhawk will still say it’s his fault lol but they have to manage the roster better. They think because they won the superbowl 2 years ago with a great defense that they didn’t need to invest. They gave the wrong guys huge contracts and drafted poorly for about 3 straight years. It will likely take a few years to recover from. I honestly think Reid needs to stop calling plays at this point. His offense hasn’t been good for 3 years.
-
Until the a couple weeks ago Pat had MVP caliber stats. He has not been perfect but has been good. The best player on the team by far.
-
@Jayhawk_69 I agree and I would honestly ask for a trade if I’m him. They are now in salary cap hell with the huge contacts for Karlaus, Jones and Bolton. All 3 guys are top 3 in terms of pay for their position but Bolton grades out the highest at being the 13th best at his position in the NFL.

Watching this packers game and it’s clear the chiefs either have terrible WRs or Reid’s scheme is washed. Love is picking apart this Denver defense and he’s not doing anything special. He’s just throwing the ball to guys that have no one within 5 yards of them. It’s easy pitch and catch, everytime I watch a game WRs get open just not the talentless ones in KC.
