  • @jayballer54 You will certainly find this article interesting as your rehabbed knees hop you on down Memory Lane:

    And another:

TJ Pugh became a doctor, I believe, and I think he has been back a lot.

  • @jayballer54 And don’t forget Ken Koenigs, of the 4.0 GPA, whose 6’ 10" height always caused everyone to think he should be greater than he was. He also became a doctor and I believe he was on the Alumni Association Board for awhile.

Sort of a Perry Ellis type without the spin moves. Consistent, not spectacular, if I recall correctly.

Do you remember 2-year player John Douglas with the 40+ pt game vs Mizzou? Sweet time!

  • @jayballer54 Well… you must quite a bit older than me buddy lol. I prob remember the 98 team as my earliest following. I was only 9 years old that season, I remember watching on our old wood grain TV when we had 4 channels. I thought they were going to win the whole damn thing that year so many good players. Kenny Gregory, Raef, Pierce and Billy Thomas who I got to meet when he played for the Cagerz in Salina, great guy. You dont really hear about these guys coming back alot ether. I know Paul came back for legends of the PHOG game and Billy was in the pregame video at one time.

  • @mayjay oh ya now you mentioned him - - I certainly do remember John Douglas sweet times - - memories - -showing my age lol - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @kjayhawks LMAO – OH - - that just hurts - - lol must be quite a bit older lol, just bury that knife deeper. - -Ya your probably right for sure, but oh yes I remember - well believe it or not actually had let those guys slip by me so many different one’s from the past - see that’s what happen your mind starts to go lol - -but how could we forget Kenny Gregory - -kid had serious hops, flat get up. - - And Billy Thomas for sure, thanks for throwing those names in - -see more names to remember thanks for that. Guess I better go sit in my rocker cover my lap with my blanket and drink my Geritol now lol. - -have a great day my friend – -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

  • @jayballer54 Tommy Smith, Suttle, Tony Guy. Good stuff. Kellogg still has the prettiest shot I have ever seen.
