  @jayballer67 Even removing his age from the equation, his good run at FSU has basically been the past 5-6 years. Giving credit for last season, Hamilton has only made 8 of 18 NCAA tournaments at FSU.

Self will have to manage it carefully. Lightfoot won’t affect 2022 recruiting. The IARP ruling is the biggest influence on 2022 recruiting right now along with Marcus Garrett’s decision having the second largest impact.

  Just to update this post. Baylor will play 3 games next week: Officially canceled were home games vs West Virginia & a road game @ Oklahoma. Tuesday @ West Virginia, Thursday Home vs Oklahoma St, Sunday Home vs Texas Tech. Oklahoma will play two games: Monday @ Oklahoma ST, Home vs Texas on Thursday Texas will play 3 games: Texas ends the season on the road for 4 straight games… @ Iowa St Tuesday, @ Oklahoma Thursday, @ TCU Sunday Texas Tech plays 3 games: vs TCU Tuesday, Home vs Iowa St Thursday, @ Baylor Sunday West Virginia plays 3 games: Tuesday Home vs Baylor, Thursday Home vs TCU, Home vs Kansas St Saturday

There was a recent interview done about Dave where coach Self said that he is a perfectionist at things which can cause some of his growing pains. Kid has gone through a huge body transformation from when he weighed over 300 pounds in High School. He has the drive to be good and that is something to applaud in him. But I agree the things he did against Texas that were negative are maddening. I’m guilty as heck at reacting to that in the moment I have been too hard on Dave on numerous occasions, but am glad that we have him. Imagine what our record wouldve been without him this season. Yepp he has grown into an important piece and next year could be something special for him if he continues to improve

I think Texas got in his head on a lot of drives. Same with Dave, you could clearly tell he was pressing and making dumb plays. The fouls are what frustrate me the most. Getting your 2nd 3 minutes into the game, getting your 3rd within 2 minutes of the 2nd half. Those kind of mental mistakes are, well, Dave.
